2. Dark Shadows (a 1990's show cancelled after 12 episodes that most
people don't remember)It's based on a daily 1960s Vampire soap opera that had over 1200 episodes, and nobody remembers them either. :p Granted, half were black & white and they were all shot on crummy video tape.

I can't say I'll ever get a chance to check that one out. After WB and UPN merged into the CW it became a digital only channel in Cincinnati, so I can't pick it up. Its the main reason I've also stopped watching The Batman (though I do prefer the Bruce Timm shows more). I only have Supernatural (another CW show) on the list because of the Season 1 DVD set. Here is hoping for a Season 2 set soon.

That was renewed for a second season too, if you were unaware. My brother is in love with that show and he says I need to watch it when it comes out on dvd so I can start watching the second season. From what I've heard, that show is awesome.

It is a good show, he is right. The only thing I don't particularly care for is the lack of actual football in some of the episodes. I know that there has to be drama and such, but still it is based after a high school football team afterall. Some episodes have a good amount of football in them, a couple had none at all.
But overall, yes it is a great show. I enjoy watching it and I am looking forward to the 2nd season.

"Barney Miller"

Man, did that show have chemistry! Many of the storylines were based on actual events (did someone say "Lanny"?).

Who would know years later that I would be in the same biz experiencing it for real? :crazed:

I was just looking through this thread and thought how I would add the West Wing if making a list now! I am working my way through the DVDs right now and am on Season Four. It really is a magnificent show, though it wasn't as good after Rob Lowe and Aaron Sorkin left.
