Well according to this article a company picked up the rights to produce 3 more films....thoughts? And yea, no Governator either it sounds like.

This comment on IMDB too.

In reporting the deal, Variety commented that the new producers see the fourth Terminator "as an attempt to reinvent the franchise with new cast and plot lines, ploys that worked for Batman and James Bond, and is being attempted with The Incredible Hulk."

Sounds good to me.

I don't see it as working because the Terminator has only EVER been one person and that is Arnold. The Bond and Batman films have always switched up the main characters so you didn't get comfortable with a certain person.

Shoot, I don't even acknowledge the third Terminator flick, since #2 left no room at all for a sequel. It's kinda like Jurassic Park /// or Short Circuit 2 for me.

...in a related story in TV Guide...I heard The Sarah Conner Chronicles is confirmed for Fall TV lineup.

So does this mean we'll finally see how Anakin became Darth Menator?

I'm looking forward to Terminator Salvation (4), Christian Bale as John Connor has me interested...I'll give it a chance.

I've been wanting to see a Terminator film, or series of films, set during the Future War period from the getgo. Somebody call Michael Biehn's agent..and let's get Kyle Reese's character back into the equation.

That would be a major conflict of interest for the Governator. I'll check out Term 4 just to see if it's any good. I wasn't sure about Sarah Connor Chronicles, but so far I have enjoyed it. If they do it right, it'll be worth the watch and perhaps maybe one other sequel, but here's hoping beyond hope that they don't run the whole franchise into the ground.
