This thread is about exactly what the title says it's about. Meanwhile my need to graffitti the forums with LISTS knows no bounds and I thought this one up.

THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK

Capital Ships Unlikely To Be Made:

Executer

Am I mistaken or wasn't there an Executer playset? Wouldn't that count?

It was vintage, and I bought a used, but complete boxed sample and was so disappointed, I managed to fanagle return priviledges.

Theres also the Troop carrier from the yavin base in ANH. This along with the carrier from ESB are actually top of my want list to make my hangar displays look better.

Then I'd like a new closer to scale desert skiff that can fit more figures, fighting room and all.

Prequel-wise I wish they'd finish out Geonosis and maybe an MTT and droid carrier, which I thought were the same thing.

RETURN OF THE JEDI

Made:
AT-ST

There has actually never been a true ROTJ AT-ST made, the toy is based on the model used for ESB. The vehicle was significantly redesigned for the Endor battle. So I would count this in the "unmade" category.

Tycho, I assume you are not counting vintage toys in this series as some entries have been forgeotten and some have been made that you listed as unmade in the vintage line like the Twin Cloud Car.

If you arent, I will change the title thread to modern line

Yeah. I'm only counting the modern line. No one here would forgive me if I suggested the Twin Pod Cloud Car was actually made and a 1981 release for it actually counts for something today!

Do the Death Stars count as a capital ship/vehicle, or do you consider those to be more like playsets?

Playsets. I mean Cloud City sort of fits that category as well. (The City could be moved if necessary).

I'm assuming you're referring to vehicles large enough to hold figures here. Otherwise, we technically did get decent sized versions (although certainly not big enough for figures) of the Tantive IV, the Executor, and the devastator in the Collectors Series short-lived vehicles line. Home 1 was supposed to be part of this as well, but was scratched, and Executor was only available briefly in some KB stores (only place I found mine).

Right. That is correct.
