View Full Version : Analysis droid and Padme's medical droid - the same?

Hello, I have heard that one of the analysis droids from the cut scene in Episode II is the same droid that is one of Padme's medical droids in Episode III (the one that tells Obi-wan there is nothing medically wrong with Padme).
Can anyone tell me if that is true? If it is, I am debating buying the analysis droids on Ebay as I passed on them the first time.
Does anyone have a picture of the Episode II droid, Episode III droid, and action figure side by side?

Here, check the links from the official site's databank:
Looking at them, you can tell they are clearly different.

they amount to the same thing. if george can give R2-D2 (an astromechanic droid the skills to paint anakins racing pod with artistic flourish then an analysis droid can be a medical droid or a social host droid or whatever.
the analysis droid with legs showed up in a bunch working at a spaceport in one scene. probably as baggage handlers.
which is apropos of nothing really.
buy the analysis droids anyway. they're neat.

Yes, they are different. Thanks!
I figured when I saw ROTS that GLu revamped the Analysis Droids into the Medical Droids.

In the Polis Massa level of Battlefront II there's a big screen that shows the analysis droids, leading me to believe that one of the developers also got them confused with the medical droids.

No no, it's not the Medical droid that is based on the Analysis droid, the body of the Analysis droid is based on the PK Droid in TPM, right down to the little apron piece on his waist:
