That is cool! He looks more along the lines of the new CGI Clone Wars cartoon outfit huh?
Watch Hasbro kit-bash something just like it when the new Clone Wars comes out.

No, I haven't done any yet. (well other than dressing up Thrawn in Veers gear ha!) But I admire others who do. Obi-Wan in Clone Gear is one of my favorite characters.
I was looking at Clone Wars Vol. II and other than maybe a white belt which you could probably get off a Clone yours is right on the money. http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/d/dd/ObiCW2promo1.jpg

It is a nice looking figure. Pics are a biut blurry but it gets the point across. I have only ever did one custom. I took the Obi-Wan and Alpha comic pack and put JAngos head on Obi's body and took Biggs cape to make a Jango Jedi. Its a simple one, but adds depth to a scene like the Geo Battle with all the generic Jedi around.

wow i was pretty close, hmm maybe ill add a belt of some sort
ill try cutting off all of obi wans stuff and the take a clone belt and glue it on.
well i have to say your thrawn looks pretty kool and intimidating
originally i was just gunna take commander codies body and put obiwans head on it.
but i like this more

Unfortunately the pics are kind of blurry but even then I can tell that it came out really, really nicely! Much better than Hasbro's attempt at Obi Wan in clone armor.

Please continue making more customs and posting them here! :D

very very nice, was thinking about doing that too, but ended up just transplanting an obi-wan head onto a clone body

Thats not a bad looking figure. Which Obi-Head did you use for it?

Mando3lite

well i assume thats the ep3 starfuighter pilot one, but how did you get the head on there?
what was your method?

totally just x-acto'd the head off the pilot one. or the neck post really, had to try getting a bit of the collar too so the head would be able to sit without looking too short or something and also just cut off the ball of the trooper. as for the two parts fitting together, i had to eyeball it and sand the parts down in order to make sure they fit. i think they ended up having a curved angle so the parts fit together like this--> ))
then used some plastizap glue which i've found to be crazy durable when working with plastics.

Well, here's my first attempt at Obers in Clone Armour from Clone Wars. It's a SA Clone with the head, cape, and helmet etc. from that awful one with the snap-on armour from the battle-pack. Probably the easiest to make. Ihttp://forums.sirstevesguide.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=16125&d=1191557086

Thanks, there was really nothing to mine. That robe from the Battle-pack is kinda cheeze-ball, but what else can you do huh?
I'd love to see a Mace, it would just be shoulder pads and arms-legs?
You could probably make him the same as you made your Obi-Wan, but I don't know how one would get those shoulder pads.
I think that is how the CGI Obi-Wan will look like, Mace's cartoon outfit, with the shoulder pads, arms and legs in Clone armour, only lighter colored robes.

BTW, there's a question in the Q&A here at SSG on whether Hasbro plans on making any more characters from the Clone Wars cartoon series (in realistic style) if you're interested.

I did a CW armor Obi-Wan like this. I entered it in a customs contest at a local comic shop and won a $20 gift certificate.
