Has anyone seen a preview of this, or actually seen this movie?

I love shoot-em up Westerns! This is Russel Crowe and Christian Bale I believe. A lot of bullets and a lot of blood.

I'm interested. How about you?

The original wasn't a shoot-em-up western, it was much more psychological, a suspense thriller film. I like the idea, but the casting seems almost too easy, but at least Russel Crowe is the villain and Christian Bale isn't - still, I would have liked to see other actors cast here that aren't known for their "dark" work.

Isn't this the movie where Christian Bale shoots the telephone out of Russel Crowe's hand before he can throw it? :squareeye

I don't think telephones had been invented in that time period.

They used telegraph machines in those days - often at the post offices.

I wanted to go on Monday, but I have a friend that wants to see it with me this coming weekend, so I'm waiting. - Looking forward to it, though.

So I saw it today. It was pretty good, but it wasn't as good as critics said it was. Russell Crowe, Christian Bale, and even Ben Foster were great in it. And the end was great. My only complaint is that there were too many slow scenes that dragged on a bit too much. Plus, not enough backstory was given to Crowe's character. All in all, it was a good movie, but nothing really Oscar worthy.

I saw this today and it was an excellent movie! Dude: 2 thumbs up!

Russel Crowe was great as Ben Wade. He did an awesome job! So did his psycho lieutenant "Charlie" that was always trying to rescue him.

I really liked this one.
