View Full Version : Too bad the Tycho figure isn't coming with a CommTech chip

I was just thinking of lines of dialogue I would have recorded for my action figure's CommTech chip:
"Michael Bay is an awesome director!"
"That's FALSE representation!"
"Have you sniffed this Mouse Droid yet?"
"Transformers are not actually meant to be transformed!"
What else would you want your Tycho action figure to say?

" Hi, I'm Tycho and I'm a Mouse Droid Snifferholic." lol

I am quite happy it would be coming with a commtechchip. Reading the posts are enough :D

Is Tycho or any pilot wearing that kind of pilot outfit seen in the movie? I'm trying to figure out if this figure is EU or not.

It's supposed to be the ROTJ movie version of a Green Squadron A-wing Pilot's uniform.
In the actual movie, Green Leader (who appears to be too old to be Tycho Celchu who is about Wedge's age) and "the real Arvel Crynyd" are the only A-wing pilots I can confirm.
Tycho Celchu is almost entirely EU, made up for the Rogue Squadron comics to be Wedge's Executive Officer (and thus, usually presented as an X-wing Pilot in the regular X-wing uniform in his comics appearances).
So the figure isn't totally representative of either the movie or the EU (a couple of pages in "The Phantom Affair" comic might show Tycho in an A-Wing in ROTJ).
What Hasbro wanted to do was:
1) Put out a carded A-Wing Pilot
2) Help boost sales of the figure with another EU connection
3) Brag that they're more sensitive to the EU fans which explains why we have Yuuzhan Vong and Exar Kun figures already

I'm not sure any Tycho replies would fit on a CommTech. I doubt they have that kind of memory. :D
