I shall watch a Will Ferrell spoof of him in his honor.

Bob Goulet was great because he could spoof himself. That's too bad that he didn't make it to the transplant, he seemed like he expected to really keep going.

I shall eat some Emerald Nuts in memorial.

You beat me to it, Cappy.

Let's pop in Naked Gun 2&1/2, Toy Story 2, and Beetlejuice to go with those Emerald Nuts.

I'm reminded of this old Sinatra Group (http://snltranscripts.jt.org/90/90ksinatra.phtml) sketch on SNL. Luther Campell (Chris Rock) is trying to convince Sinatra (Phil Hartman) that he has no talent. Frank insists Luther does have talent and says "No, Bob Goulet, that's not talented."

I loved when he sang the Canadian National Anthem at Wrestlemania VI.

I like "O Canada" anyway, especially when sung at a Canadian hockey game. They get into it.

BTW, the Emerald Nuts (http://emeraldnuts.com/) website has a comment about Bob's passing at the top of their site:
We are deeply saddened by the passing of our friend Robert Goulet. His sense of humor, charm and charisma left an impression on all of us.
We offer our sincerest condolences to Robert’s family.

You left off the last sentences:

"However, we recommend you continue eating Emerald Nuts. Robert would've wanted it that way."

Yeah it's on the site I found it by accident in google. I've had diamond's wasabi almonds before they clear the sinuses too. So does putting extra wasabi on my sushi.

The emerald wasabi nuts taste horrible. They also do not make my nose run. Maybe planters makes something similar.

Now Elvis will no longer have to shoot at his television sets every time he sights Bob on screen in whatever purgatory he ended up in.

Today is Bob's birthday. He was born on November 26, 1933.

Almost got that 74th candle on his birthday cake.
