I always associate Thanksgiving (a little bit) with this site, since I remember seeing "Happy Turkey Day!" written here in 1998 or so, right when I started coming here.

At any rate, happy Thanksgiving!

It was just before Thanksgiving 1996 when I joined the site back in my staff reporter days. I was doing Rogues' Gallery, the SW e-newsletter on the EU then, and my review was of "Return to Ord Mantell," with Han Solo on the book cover and SirSteve debuting images of the 1997 figures including Han Solo in Endor Gear. It started that blue pants / brown pants debate.

Happy belated one.

Be sure to give out Snickers bar to any visiting pilgrims. Or barbarians, for that matter.

I would prefer to give out Slicker bars.

I could only find the Dark Chocolate though.

Mashed potatoes day is back! Oh, and turkey and stuffing, and veggies and desserts. With football and parades on TV (or, if lucky, in person). And reasons to be thankful, too. :pleased:

I joined in a pick-up football game(s) this morning; the annual Turkey Bowl at a local junior high field (3 games at a time, with 7-on-7 teams). I had to offensive stats (but a few tackles, passes defensed, several almost-sacks). And I am unhurt! Sore, but that comes from bein' an old man.

Happy Thanksgiving, sir, and all other IE SSG members as well (you know who you are!).

Happy Thanksgiving to all SSGers!

I will be working today and tomorrow, so I hope all in my community will behave which will equate to an uneventful holiday for me (hopefully and happily!).

This is one of the latest calendar dates that Thanksgiving can be. Enjoy the food, the family, the football, the festivities in parade form, and the feelings of numbness and lethargy due to doing all those things!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, hope your stomachs can stretch to hold it all! Remember to cut the pie in the shape of the Imperial logo. ;)

But the Rebel logo could look like a very trim turkey (you'd need some skill carving to make the pie look so).

I hope everyone had a lovely Life Day (technically it's more of a Thanksgiving analogue than a Christmas one, so I guess that works :p )!

(As I've stated previously, I started visiting this site around this time 15 years ago - hard to believe!)

No matter what the weather is like, who's with you, which team is victorious, the dryness of the turkey or creaminess of the mashed potatoes, or the quality of your singing voice around red-robed friends, happy Thanksgiving today and beyond!

[edit] I was invited to "Turkey Bowl" pick-up flag football games (three 5-on-5 or 6-on-6 going on concurrently). My team lost both its games (but were competitive, scoring at least 5 TDs in each game-to-7). Am a little sore and sleepy (but that could be after eating the meal today), with a bruised non-writing hand, but overall feel okay.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Americans (except at Hasbro, get back to work ;))

Now, as BCJ just mentioned, we start getting ready for Life Day, I started my Life Day shopping online this very morning.

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm anxiously waiting for our 88 seconds of NEW STAR WARS CONTENT tomorrow. Can't to start posting. I first got online back in 1996 in search of prequel rumors in anticipation of new films. 18 years later and I still do the same thing, but now with more online friends and much better resolution - so thanks for that!
