Not only is his face weird, but it is wrong? In the Vanity Fair pics posted at deathstarplans.com, I just saw, Mace has facial hair. So, does he or doesn't he in the movie and is he going to in the fig?

Here is a pic of Mace Windu from the Vanity Fair magazine.

Sorry, dont know how this happened and I don't know where the pic is.

I think the figure is supposed to be based on the look from the movie, not the vanity fair pictures. Watch the trailer, and see if you can find the Star Wars Insider with him in the cover.

Well, maybe I am just stupid, but why are the Vanity Fair pics different?

That looks to be more like costuming screen tests. Not actual production images. Samuel L. Jackson may have been growing out a beard before principal photography started, and then he shaved it off again. I am pretty sure that from the trailers we've seen as well as photos taken on set that he doesnt have that crummy beard in the movie. :)

AOTC isn't the only film project that SLJ is working on. :) For example, the delayed 51st State
He was working on another movie at the time the photo was taken and probably wasn't allowed to shave it off!He wont appear in AOTC with it for the record :)

Maybe those parts of his face will be done in CGI and he'll have to wear a green covering over the hair. :p

I'm a Sam Jackson fan and really can't wait to see a little more from the Mace Windu character than some chin rubbing and eye rolling (like in TPM).
I (surprise!) DON'T like the "Screaming Talk to the hand" Mace Windu figure. It looks like he is trying to catch flies in his mouth. Ewww. Interesting idea, but again... too scene and MOMENT specific.
I just picked up the E1 Mail-Away Mace and that one, paired with the official E1 release of Mace is plenty enough Mace Windu for ME!

Jango: Hmm...nice watch, mind if I... TAKE IT!
Mace: My elusive exclusive to cast only limited to under 50 which each go for 2 billion each Pulp Fiction wrist-watch with pop-up 3D guns, NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say I'll probably pick up all the Maces. I'm like that with Plo Koon also, I just love the look of both of the characters, so I'll buy them.

Get this, if you watch one of the AOTC trailers, we see a cool image of Mace Windu as a holograph. Unless I'm mistaken, in the preview, Holographic Mace has the muctach and burns.
