Alternative Uses For Deluxe Flip Bases

Place figure's feet on launch pad slots. Pull button - figure flips once in the air and, if you use the Force wisely, will land on its feet! (Skill and practice is required to master the Force flip).

No magnets. Just patience. Since I'm sure nobody has any interest in a statistical study of how many times Obi and Dooku land on their feet, let's find more uses for these.

Looks like the circular landing platform is removeable, sooo...


1) Darth Maul (Final Duel). Stand him backwards, and flip him to his death.

2) Jar Jar Binks. Flip him to his death.

3) Sarlaac pit scene. Flip Nikto, Boba Fett, etc. to their death.

4) Flip Luke Skywalker out of the path of an AT-AT's leg.

The thing that sucks about these is that if you flip them too much and they don't land on their feet or even if they do, they're A) Get alot of paint scuffs and scratches, B) Get really loose in some joints, C) Their lightsabers will fall from their hand and roll onto the floor then underneith the hardest to under thing even if it's 20 feet away, D) Get a limb broken off because of being played with too exstinvely and not landing on their feet enough or D) A combination of the above.

As I understand it, the base IS magnetic to ensure more landings (without this, the figure would bounce back off its feet once it landed) and the real use for these will be to erase the hard drives of buyers everywhere. :evil:

2. why bother feeding youself, let the flip base do it, place m&m on base, give it a hard TWACK, and enjoy the treat!

Btw, JT. Yeah, you can see the magnet pieces on their feet...so what if they don't complete the flip and land on their head or a lightsaber hits something during the flip and screws it up? I doubt they'll be able to have a perfect landing if they're getting Mace-doo the hard way.

Oh Basker, I hadn't thought about the lightsaber thing, this sucker's just a flying projectile of doom now. :eek: I have a feeling these will probably land on their butts a lot, or land on just off their feet and fall flat on their faces. ;)
