So, does anyone plan on buying all the basic 3 3/4 figs? That's what I always tend to do.

Oh, yeah. For the next movie too. I'm in this for the long haul. My ultimate goal is all six movies represented in toys on shelves in the computer room.

Count me among those being sucked. I'll be nabbing at least one of each. More if I can, because I'm a hoarder. I keep multiples carded and return them for in-store credit years later.
It's all about me.
I'll get the ones I like first But I'll probably get them all at some point as I've been a sucker for Hasbros products for several years :)

I'll be buying one of each also. Maybe a few more of the army builders for to create an Arena diorama. I always open everything everything though, and don't keep a second carded. So, I don't mind it to much. :)

I generally like the tone of this movie moreso than E1, so I will actually buy AOTC toys. I only bought one Episode 1 action figure, only because I didn't see any reasone to get them. I'll get a lot of AOTC toys, probabyl. Not all of them, but I've never bought all of any particular line to date.
I'll probably end up doing an arena scene to compliment my Bespin, Cantina, and Jabba's palace scenes in my office.
If these fall to $2 a pop though, I might be inclined to pick up the ones I missed.

I will be there April 23 to buy all the first round and all the next waves after. I will be buying all of them without a doubt.

I know that I'll be buying them all. I try to tell myself if that one looks totally crapola I won't get it but I always do. I just don't open the ugly ones. If it's ugly it goes into the tupperware storage box. Nothing beats opening up and admiring a good looking figure. I'll get them all plus the mandatory couple extra army builders(let the clonetrooper hunt begin!!). I won't buy one to open and one to keep carded. Too much $$$$$.

April 23rd will be a day long remembered and it looks to be one of the most expensive days and SO MUCH FUN! I'm already socking away some extra cash to beef up my legions.

I'm gonna try and get as much as I can, I think what I'm gonna get mostly is:
As many figures as I can, especially Super Battle Droids, generic Battle Droid, and Clone Troopers
Nerf Jango double blasters, but only if they're big enough cause I remember the Naboo soldier Nerf blaster was tiny.
Dunno which lightsabers I'm gonna get yet
all the vehicles
some of the LEGOs.
I'm trying to stash away as much as I can for E2. :)

I'll only be getting the ones that aren't redundant or posed in "freaked out" poses. I'm not going broke for ANYONE!

Who needs room in their house? So what if the stuff is taking over?

Possibly. But not all right away. Who can afford to spend that much money in one day. I'll hold off on the stuff I don't want and the stuff that will probably be major pegwarmers such as Captain Typho so that I can get them when they are discounted.

...yeah, I'm not buying any. That's why I spend so many hours each week reading the news about each figure, enjoying the contemplation of Hasbro's misdeeds, burning in anticipation for April 23rd...
OF COURSE I'M BUYING EVERY LAST ONE!!! Hopefully one-stop shopping at midnight, hopefully under the $350 total I dropped in 1999. I'm with Fulit. my computer room doesn't have the space for much of my ancient figures from the 70's but I have the majority of current figures and ships posed on numerous bookshelves. I buy one of everything, and open every last one. (For those of you keeping them for resale, mutual funds are a mucher safer bet.)
