But it looks even cooler in these shots, I dunno what to do.

The front section opens to reveal a sled:

Nice cockpit design, look at that chair:

V-19 Torrent is tragically $55:

What's going on here with the open cockpit?
http://photos.sirstevesguide.com/showphoto.php?photo=26656
http://photos.sirstevesguide.com/showphoto.php?photo=26655

Holy crap, I think the cockpit slides forward and then tilts down:
http://photos.sirstevesguide.com/showphoto.php?photo=26652
But why is there no back wall?

OHHH!
http://photos.sirstevesguide.com/showphoto.php?photo=26648
(because it's halfassed :p)

Still, I am gonna have to rip off that cockpit system, this is too clean:

Some of the features are the same as the original I think.

Do you know if there was any mention of the Homing Spider Droid set there?

Or any mention on what the "Twilight" set might be?

Again, slightly dissapointing. I was hoping to see the other summer sets, not thing we've all seen before, but they still do look great. I'm unsure about getting the V-19, IDK, it just looks off to me. Maybe it's the open cockpit?.?. It still looks loads better then Hasbros version.

I dislike it all aside from the new Anakin and Obi-Wan hair pieces. i know some of these sets have clever builds, lots of new pieces. but they fail to excite me. however, new hair pieces for minifigs are always welcome.

No mention of any of that. It may just be exclusive though, they don't bring exclusives to TF since TF is about selling to all the retailers.

Great pics! thanks for taking them - what are the chances you scored the Lego exclusive? I'd love to see pics of that - and um, if you want someone to take it off your hands, let me know :)

Steve shot these, I unfortunately didn't make it. I believe the odds of him having gotten the exclusive are approximately 1 to 1, but it's a keeper. I'll remind him to get shots of it.
