View Full Version : If you can make that AT-TE...

...look soooo badarsed with the electronics, the opening door, and all of it's awesome glory then why can't you re-make the Cruisemissle Trooper?! That vehicle had to have been THE best vehicle of the first 10 years. It's only downfall was that the trooper was just a head basically.

I want my SA Cruisemissle Trooper or I'm done. I'm sick of you not making what us fans want and only making carp like Yarna and the AT-TE.

GIVE ME AN SA CRUISEMISSLE TROOPER!!!!

Who's with me? Anyone? Bueller? ;)

Well, if they can do such an awesome job on the AT-TE, then I'd like to see:

larger and more accurate AT-AT
ROTJ AT-ST (never been made before)
new Speeder Bike
correctly-scaled Tatooine Skiff

And while they are at it, they can make some Skiff Guards too. :)

Forget all of that, I'm not buying another toy ever again until they release the U.S.S. Flagg again. Hasbro owes me for the .0000000000005% of their income I give them. I'm taking this little piece and walking out the door.:whip:

USS Flagg was the coolest play set of all time! Bring it back Hasbro!

The Cruise Missle Trooper was trash...I bought it. Don't get me wrong, but it was just sorta there, and never served a purpose. I love the EU but even i have my boundries.

But if they can make this AT-TE (Whatever it's called), why can't they make a sail barge? A better skiff, a sand crawler (Bring it back hasbro)!!! Or even a death star playset, a star destroyer bridge playset (which i would settle for)

This seems to have become the USS Flagg thread, to which I'll add my vote for as well. But I can't help but wonder if the AT-TE is $100, the Flagg would be twice as much -- not that I wouldn't GLADLY, UNHESITATINGLY buy it. And since they're at it, give us a Terror Drome and Defiant Shuttle complex, as well.

But on the Star Wars end, if I read Hasbro's thinking correctly, the next big ticket item that they would make if they go down that route would be the Turbo Tank. While Jabba's Barge would be great, the tank has more of a chance to make it into the cartoon series. Also possible for the cartoon series would be a Blockade Runner. The entire saga begins on this ship, so maybe Hasbro will remember this someday.

I think I saw online somewhere Hasbro's estimate for the retail price of a rereleased U.S.S. Flagg, but honestly, I would happily pay well more than $200 for a brand new Flagg. It really is that one item that I didn't get when I was a kid that I just can't make up for as an adult.

All the old, big Star Wars vehicles? I've got multiples of some of them now. Old G.I. Joe vehicles? There are a lot of holes in that collection, and it'll take a lot of toys to fill up the massive hole Flagg leaves behind.

Where was this heard? An item of that magnitude would have to be shown at TF, unless Hasbro is saving it for the GI Joe convention in April. It would be a dream come true. As pathetic as it sounds, I had a dream last summer that I went into a TRU in some far off city I was driving through and up on the top of one of the shelves in the back corner of the store was a USS Flagg on clearance.

Alas, "...when we have shuffled off this mortal coil."

I've heard a rumor of the USS Flagg remake as well.

If Hasbro makes another 7 foot long vehicle/playset for the GI Joe line, then I think we would be justified in harassing them nonstop for more giant Star Wars vehicles.

Hell yeah! GI Joe was the best team ever, they conned you into getting not 1 but 2 coffee table-sized 3-stage rolling shuttle launch complexes! The Joes could orbitally obliterate Cobra with a fleet of those mofos! If you love America, defend her by buying 16 of the Defiant kids!

If you can make an AT-TE, you'd better make Billy and a better Kwinn figure ASAP.

And Teek. Especially Teek. No one's life is complete without a Teek figure. And a stuffed Teek. And an overpriced 12" Sideshow Teek.

Good call.

I'd also like to see it repainted. The original was far too "cartoony" for my taste, that's why I only bought fifteen of them. I mean, had I bought any more Hasbro might think that people liked this kind of trash and would continue to pump it out for years.

But I'm an army builder and I needed them. I spent over $300 on them, so I'm allowed to complain.

I'm just p*ssed that they haven't made a vintage-style Cruisemissile Trooper Pilot yet. God damn it. Yarna, AT-TE, post-Yavin R2-D2, two-piece removable helmet Vader -- I've never asked for those. I want my vintage-style Cruisemissile Trooper Pilot or I'm out forever.

All they have to do is mix pieces of TIE Pilots and AT-AT Drivers, and slap on some blue paint. It shouldn't be that hard!

They should commission a comic where Han Solo has to use his smuggler backpack to take out a Cruisemissile, and make a 2-pack so we get new figures for both!

I love it when Hasbro takes fan advice and does stuff like that only to have the same fans complain a month later when the awesome trooper who had a background role in a background story is clogging shelfs and keeping other rainbow cadets from making it onto the pegs/shelves.

I can complain because I buy 3,000 of each different clone. Hasbro OWES me.

Well, the problem with the Cruise Missile Trooper is that the original was perfect for the simple fact that all he wears is his helmet.
