1) Ohh a little of this and a little of that.

2) Caesar posting about JJB eating Jimmy John's downstairs then when he (Caesar) comes downstairs to tell JJB, Caesar finds that JJB is already left to go to one of the bars he 'works' at on the side.

3) Took a different position in the company he works for and less then a month later he already has had two interviews for a sales position.

4) Went snowshoeing in a snowstorm on Sunday afternoon.

5) Wondering why Chuck and Bones don't have their own threads on SSG (at least they didn't at the time of his last visit).

Love the saniches, but the delivery area(or lack of) really bites.

We are working on that, new stores are opening all the time. Hopefully near your home domicile and/or place of employment.

Good Christ, auction off those jeans quick - the geeks I know would pay a fortune for anything that's been within that narrow proximity of Deoxy's bits.

Actually they were cargo pants (tan), two washings and they were clean again (true story, ask C).

Ding ding! The Sub is a distant third in my book.

Don't get me wrong. Subway makes a mean meatball sub, but Jimmy Johns has the Gargantuan and that's just good stuff. Best sub in the world IMHO.

Subway used to be awesome cheap food. Now it's mediocre and way overpriced.

I won't say its THE best, but as far as Subways, Cousin's and those types of places the Gar (no onion or tomato) is the bomb! There is a great warm sub that is made by a local place in Green Bay.

In my teen's I LOVED the pizza sub aka. a Magic Johnson (I don't remember how it got that nickname), I got burnt out on roasted chicken breast. Very good but I got it waaaaaay to often.

Jedi_Kal-El
02-27-2008, 08:59 PM
There's alot of the smaller pizza places and delis that can do a decent sub as well. One of my local places has a pretty good chicken club. You can get it toasted or not, but I think you can do that just about anywhere these days.

In regards to what Chux said about Subway, the problem with them is that they got too gimicky to try and compete with the newer competition. I do remember when they had good cheap food, and yes it is way overpriced now.

The Garg kicks much arse. I get mine with cucumbers added to it.

Cucumbers are disgusting and "The Garg" doesn't come with enough stuff on it.

Lame.

You can add stuff to it if ya want Caes. I like to have bacon and extra meat added to mine. Sure it costs a bit more, but it's worth it.

Edit: Oh wait. Woooohoooo 600 posts. Ok that was kinda lame. Probably the first and last time I'll ever brag about a milestone.

True story. :)

Same as with JediPartner's "Is You Is Or Is You Ain't My Baby," I saw a Google Spider "looking" at this thread, came up with what I thought was an awesome response, and saw that I'd already made that response two years ago.

At least my taste or lack thereof is consistent, eh?
