I still have not yet found the three new comic packs:
I need the following (I need a few mulptiples, but any of these would be fine as I don't even have one of each yet):
Mouse And Basso in Stormtrooper Disguise (just need 1)
Republic Commando And Super Battle Droid (need 4)
Lt. Jundland (Luke Skywalker) and Deena Shan (need 4)

If you can help me out, please PM me. Of course I'll pay retail plus shipping.

I saw a Mouse and Basso twice this week, I'll check tomorrow because I'll be out that way again  If I find one I snag it and post you sometime Saturday evening.

Why didn't you ask a week ago? :p I could've gotten 2 of the Luke/Deena packs for you.

Agreed, I could have gotten all of them yesterday.

cripes! I wish I would have asked sooner then.

Well any help any of you can give will be greatly appreciated. Hold onto your receipts in case someone gets me the Mouse/Basso set first. I don't want any of you to be stuck with a set on a count of me.

I am looking for Kashyyyk troopers to if anyone can help.

Sorry, I know I'm asking quite a bit lately. My WM is going through a big renovation, so no new toys for awhile now. TRU has been pretty pathetic for toys in my area. Target JUST got some new stuff in. (EVO)

So I've been a bit dry on new stuff.

No luck today with your figs.....why was last week so hot for everyone else too?

Too many peg warmers this weekend...

I saw a few of them last week too Sal. I picked up a Mouse and Basso and left the rest. They're gone now, and I probably won't see them again for another month.

We had several of these at Wal-Mart last week, we are down to just a couple, but I'll see if we have them in tomorrow for you.

check TRU.com this week too. They have comic packs and basic figures buy 2 get one free (of course they were out of the new wave just now.)

Thanks again to all of you keeping a look out for me. I still haven't found these yet.

Now would be the perfect time to find them at TRU with the buy 2 get 1 free sale. This works even better for me (if they can be found), since I need multiples.

Again, your help is greatly appreciated.

Well I hit a motherlode yesterday.

I snagged 3 of the Luke/Shan, 2 Commando/Super Battle Droid, and the 1 Mouse/Basso set I wanted.

So after this, I still need 2 Commando sets. (Once I got a look at the Shan, while I plan on getting a fourth one, I'll get her myself. The paint around the eyes is kind of bad and I'm a little picky when it comes to paint. So I won't ask anyone to help me get that last one.)

Again thanks to those who had already looked for me. Just 2 Commando sets to go and I'm caught up on this wave.

You have a very funny definition of "not army building anymore."

You have a very funny definition of "not army building anymore."

As a repost from your questioning this in the March Hauls thread:

Well, I'm saving money in this respect, on average I bought 20 or 40 of a specific type of trooper. I've long maintained that the Kashyyyk trooper was going to be my last big army builder, so I don't count that one. Looking at what is out there though, I am saving money by not building big.

For example:
SA 501st (was planning on 40 before downsizing-got 10 and I'm done. So I save approx $210 on that figure alone).
EVO trooper (TFU) would have bought 20, now only getting 5. Saving approx $105.
Jump Trooper (TFU) would have bought 20, now only getting 5. Saving approx $105.

So on those three examples alone I've saved myseld $420...hmm $420, coincidence, heh heh. J/K

Anyway, take this example further:
Shadow Stormtrooper: Was going to get 10, only going to get 2 (saving $56)
Commander Neyo: was going to get 20, now will get only 6 (saving $98)
Covert Ops Clone Trooper: was going to get 5, now only 2 (saving $21)
Utapau Shadow Trooper: was going to get 5, now only 2 (saving $21)

So with those 5 I'm saving an additional $196. Add that to above and that's $616 saved.

Now that you know the fuller picture you can understand where I'm coming from when I say I'm saving. As I said above, I didn't count the Kashyyyk trooper in this because I knew I was going to army build that one.

Just to add a little to this, instead of the 20 or 40 I normally got, I've decided to keep myself to just 5 or 6. Essentially that cuts it down to a squad instead of a small company or platoon.

Considering I spent over $6K last year and now have cut my budget down to $3K, it IS a savings. Cutting down army building drastically helped. Not getting the animated figures is going to be another big help. My biggest hit this year will be the AT-TE and that I've already accounted for. So far this year I've only spent approx $350 on SW stuff (and that's total for Jan AND Feb). That is well below my average of $500 a month (at that rate I would have spent $1000 instead of only $350). It may not make sense to some, but it does to me. I'm already seeing a return on my savings from not buying toys. I was able to take my fiancee to a very nice dinner as a late Valentine's Day dinner. Much more expensive than I normally spend. This was totally attributed to me not buying as many toys.
