So I was sleeping again. And I had a dream again.

This time I dreamt I was online at SirSteves. Imagine that. I usually dream about something first, then get online and post about it. This time I was actually dreaming I was already online before I got the chance to even get online. I'm getting ahead of even myself.

Anyway, in my dream the new feature was really cool.

You chose the product that you wanted to buy - say it was a new figure. Then you chose the quantiy you wanted - say it was 5 Tri-Droids. A big 5"x7" picture of your item would be displayed along with a label that said "Hasbro, 3 3/4" basic figures, 2008 asst. 1 - Tri-Droid." You could add other items to your "shopping cart" as well.

Then you'd hit the search button and SirStevesGuide would search the entire world wide web to find you the best price and means to get what you wanted, or the majority of it. It might tell you that the computer inventory at your local Target has them listed as in-stock right now, and you could click on the "map-it" button and driving directions to Target would appear. Or it might say that KB Toys has a buy 2 get one free deal and compare the cost. Or it would link to an eBay auction or HasbroToyShop.com, etc.

If you didn't like the first option, you could click a "next option" button and the next best way to obtain your items would be recommended with these beautiful pictures of the products that you want to order.

I actually dreamt this. But wouldn't it be cool?

Last week, I had a dream that one of my tires shredded. Two days later, for no reason I can remember, my steering wheel picked up a "wobble" that was evident if I took my hands off the wheel. Figuring it was old tires combined with an alignment problem, I took it in to Firestone to have it checked out. One of the tires had broken its belts! The thing could've shredded as I cruised around at 70 mph on the freeway for the past week.

Listen to your dreams!

Stillakid had a premonition through the Force!

It is a sign that he could achieve eventual true clarvoyence with the proper training.

I can imagine him wearing his new Bikerscout helmet, many necklaces of exotic beads, lighting insense candles, adopting a Jamaican accent, and reading Tarrot cards for a career change.

I've had two dreams in the last week that involved me being in a plane crash. I wonder if I should avoid flying for a while.:cross-eye

I don't know if I dream at all. If I do, I don't remember them.

. . .

Is this why I am so forgetful?

Yes. Maybe 1-2 months. Especially if you don't have to go anywhere.

If you are planning a spring vacation trip, that's when the plane crash is supposed to happen.

Don't be on that flight.

Native Americans. Usually the Chief's daughter.

I was supposed to fly down to California to stay with this girl, but that's been put off for a little bit since my brother's marriage seems to be falling apart and he needs a place to stay for a couple of weeks. So, most likely, I won't get to head down to CA until next month.

Cool. Want to try and visit anyone from the site while you're here? I'm in San Diego, and there are a LOT of SSGrs in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, with my amateur dream interpretation continuiing here, your seeing this girl may or may not be the good idea and perhaps you fear the outcome of THAT and it is manifesting itself as a fear of being in a plane crash.

I'd add weight to that subconscious message because of your brother's marriage troubles. If you repeat the same pattern, it might signal that your foresee your own divorce (the crash and burn) sometime in the future. Of course it must start with your having a positive relationship and falling in love with this girl, then you have to get married before you can get divorced.

I made that last obvious statement only because I'm Tycho and it suits me to write something dumb every so many sentences. This is also because I would think it would be dumb to get married in the first place, but not many are going to think my marital advice is smart anyway.

I do. :) There are always times when you just crawl, like last week when traffic was moving no more than 20mph from downtown to Burbank. But there are plenty of other times when I'm easily hitting 75... and getting passed. It all depends on what time of day/weather/accidents....

I just know every time I go within 20-30 miles of LA, it takes an hour or two to go five miles.

I was hitting 85mph yesterday up the 101 and 118 for extended periods, and getting sucked into going even faster by the surrounding traffic. There were a few dead spots (the 5 between the 170 and 118) but mostly it was hard to keep the needle under 75mph because of the flow and my car wants to go. :p On the way back on the 101 it was a little heavier, 50-60mph, and at times I had to give a little extra to get out of the way of complete morons, but still fairly smooth. There are a lot of freeways that suck at rush hour, if you have GPS or internet on your phone, just check traffic ahead of time and avoid those areas. Actually, even yellow sig alerts are ok, 35-45mph on the freeway ain't bad.

The internet kinda sucks for individual figures, especially pricing issues, you get what you get and you're lucky to get it. The problem is the figures are sold to retailers by case, not by character.

I don't miss living in LA. It's the only place where your speedometer converts to a calendar at rush hour. :p

Yes yes, very cute. I'll keep it in mind today when I'm struggling to keep the speedometer under 75 again. ;)
