If you have a weak stomach or a Vader fascination please do not read.

Wow . . . They truly ripped him a new one.

Oh wait. That's a feture on the figure isn't it?

I don't have this one yet, but I definitely find it odd that they used the Hayden head on last year's ANH Vader and seem to have used a Sebastian-style head here.

Why the hell did you waste money on this? You should've bought some magic beans instead.

Even with all those issues, 35 out of 100 seems a bit harsh.

Not really. This figure is horrid. I cant really think of a redeeming aspect of it except it wasnt skimped with articulation, and that can only go so far.

If I bought the other 6 of them, might as well get this one also.

Boy, that doesn't sound promising. I was looking forward to this one. :(

I thought the figure was pretty cool myself. One of the few figures outside of the MacQuarrie ones that I've bought in years. :)

It looks cool to me, I just wish I could find it.

So, after over a month of looking for this oddly scarce figure, I managed to find one at Toys R Us a few days back. I picked this toy up for my son, as he's always open to a "battle damaged" version of someone or other.

The first thing that struck me after I got to fiddle around with this a bit, is that it does have some really great articulation, and the detailing is nice. The figure seems to be well built, and aside from the fact that some of the removable parts can fall off a little too easily, it's pretty solid.

I can't even complain about the paint with this one like I usually can, so all in all, I'd have to give it a pretty decent rating. As a toy that's designed primarily for play, I'm even willing to ignore the "big left foot." Probably wouldn't be able to stand otherwise, which would bother me a great deal more.

Glad to see someone else digs this thing. Beginning to feel like a hate-fest for this poor guy lately. Nice photos.
