Your MOST desired vehicle/ship-not yet made? Prep list for Poll thread.

Okay folks, much as we are having a figure poll to submit to Hasbro at SDCC, I'm going to head up a poll for vehicles/ships.

The key to this is that the vehicle and/or ship must fall within the 3 3/4 toy line and has never been made in the modern line as a 3 3/4 ship. No Titanium sized ships this go around. Also, capital class ships such as a Star Destroyer, Greivous Flagship or Mon Calamari ship will be excluded. The ship must be not much bigger than the biggest current ship made. At present that's the AT-TE. Yes, that means the sail barge and Turbo tank are going to be included.

I'm going to post a list of never before made ships from all 6 movies, plus some EU. While there may be some great designs from EU, please let us refrain from very obscure ships (as it's very likely you may be the only one person voting on it anyway). If an EU ship has been seen in multiple venues such as a comic book, novel, video game, then I'd say it's pretty fair to put it in.

Several of the ones originally listed have been or are being made! Due to us? Who knows, maybe, but it's free input for Hasbro and fun for we collectors to have a voice.

As to the voting, once we have a suitable list, you will pick 12 from the master list, in order from 1-12. Your top pick will get 12 points, your second pick will get 11 points, etc. The top 15 vote getters will advance to the next round. Similar voting will take place in subsequent poll, please see those threads when started for voting details.

Please just post your write-ins if you have any. Consider the likelyhood of them being made, as well as Hasbro's penchant for repaints. That doesn't mean singular ships won't be made however. So please write-in with your heart. If you do have a write-in, it would be helpful to include a link showing the ship you are writing in for.

Once you've written in something, I will add it to the list and delete your post so as to keep any confusion down. I will put a note in the master list, something to the effect of "as written in by [insert forumite's name here]."

I put most of your write-ins on the list.
The following four I did not and here's why:
Imperial V-Wing Fighter-This ship has already been done as the republic V-wing. For this list we are taking never before made. Repaints do not count as they are more likely to be done since hasbro can make use of the tools and molds.

Ultra Battle Droid-Even more a figure sized droid. So hold onto this one for a new figure poll. Did you happen to write these in on the figure poll that Tycho and Mad Slanted Powers are running?

Tri-Droid (Correct Scale)-still pretty much a droid of action figure size, but we can stick this in a future figure poll, so keep that in mind.The Tri-Droid if done to scale would be bigger than a Starfighter-scale vehicle, as you can see here with the comparison to the clone trooper: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Tri-droid-CHRON.jpg what Hasbro was trying to do was make the Octuptarra Droid but they used the look of the Tri-Droid not realizing there is a vast scale change. The Octuptarra Droid is 3.6m tall, the Tri-Droid is like 30m tall (there's no official height due to a goof on LFL's part). If the Spider Droid, Snail Droid, Hailfire Droid, and Droid Tri-Fighter can be considered vehicles due to their size, then the Tri-Droid easily also fits that criteria.

Yousee point is well seen. I'll add the "Proper Scaled Tri-Droid" to the list. Adding the link, helped to justify that. I had been under the distinct impression that the Octuptarra droid and Tri-Droid where barely different in scale.

As of now we have 68 ships listed.
Since these are getting more and more obscure, I'm going to cut the write-in time down as well as how many more may be added to the list.


You now have until noon today (Wednesday). The list will end at 70 as that is well more than enough to choose from.

So only 2 more write-ins will be accepted. Those who have written in may NOT write any more in. We need to make this fair for everyone. It's really the obsurity that is making this change. If Hasbro is not looking to make the cloud car, a movie vehicle and one that was actually made into a toy in the vintage line, then honestly ask yourself, will this obscure write-in have a chance to be made. Answer that to yourself not me.

It took years and years of campaigning to get the AT-TE done and that was in two movies, video games, the old cartoon, the new cartoon, and novels. Granted it's size held it back a little, but I'm using it as a real illustrations at how even an ultra popular vehicle had a hard time making it into production.

Due to the size of the list, you will be allowed to vote for 15 in the voting thread when I create that. Look for that thread to happen sooner as well-with complete rules for voting posted in that thread.

Oh, good one! How about Bossk's "Hound's Toothe" and Dengar's "Punishing One," with Zuckuss' and 4-LOM's "Myst Hunter?"

The bounty hunters definitely need their ships, but the IG-2000 would be my first choice as well (for an EU bounty hunter ship).
