Why did they sculpt his arms when the hologram in the movie didn't go that far? It's still pretty sweet, though. I want to see it in the packaging now. It looks a little small but I will definitely get it.

I'd buy the Emperor by itself seeing as I already have that particular Vader.

It's a Comic Con exclusive? I may need one of you to pick one up for me.

It'll also be available on HasbroToyShop that same day.

You would probably have an easier time ordering this from HTS than any of us that are attending SDCC would have trying to buy it there. The HTS booth was a nightmare last year and I don't really expect this year to be any different.

Ah, okay. I should've known it would be available on HTS. That's how it was with the 501st Trooper, wasn't it?

I would really like one of these too. The scene of Vader talking to the Emperor was one of my favorites when I was little. I like the scene even more today now that Ian is in the scene. I hope they are not to expensive.

Probably so it has a flat base to stand on. ;)

Looks pretty cool to me. Nice to finally see the Holo-Emporer Head getting done. :)

I just hope it's the entire dialogue from the scene and not just "There is a Great Distubance in the Force..."

depending on how it looks boxed I might order 2. always loved this scene.

I would have preferred to have an all-new Vader sculpted into a kneeling position for this set.

I don't know what to think of this. The base is cool and I heard that it will contain the entire dialogue from the scene. The Vader is a rehash, as expected. I don't really mind the arms being sculpted in the hologram, but it seems undersized to me, a bit disappointing.

It's just an ugly lump of plastic to me.even if i'd wanted it for decades I wouldn't waste my money. F.U.G.L.Y. it aint got no alibi - It fugly. It fugly.

This one can do that position as well, though.

they got to repack this holo emperor and recolored it similar to the holo jedi luke, OTC spirit obi-wan and TAC spirit anakin skywalker.

This should be a good companion piece for the 500th figure meditation chamber - if memory serves they were both in the same room of the Executor....pity we can't get an Executor bridge.

They chose the wrong Vader for this because this figure cannot bow its head.

Without sculpting it so Vader always kneels or putting a peg hole in the knee I think the Vader will just keep falling over after a day or two.

And the Emperor head is too small.

It isn't a terrible product though. I'd likely buy it if it was in stores, but will pass since it is an exclusive.

Hmm, I just realized, VOTC Vader doesn't have ankle articulation, the reason mine broke so easily is because the knee is free-floating with articulation just above and just below the ball-hinge. Ankle articulation is crucial for a kneeling pose, I have a kneeling clonetrooper on my desk that generally stays upright just fine, but the ankles have to be adjustable for this.

I was very excited about this one when I heard of it.

Now, less so.

You say you CAN pose this Vader kneeling? That "He will join us or die, My Master!" pose is what's so necessary.

Then they'll actually get me to buy 1 more Vader.

I swear this will be the last one!

Yeah, the figure does kneel.
