This has bugged me for three years.

Who thought it was a good idea to totally revamp the Kit Fisto mask between AOTC and ROTS?

The attached pics show the differences, particularly around the eyes. Although it's not as clear in this ROTS pic, he's got a lot more yellow mottling on his skin in ROTS.

Really, why change it midstream without a reason?

Interesting...I had no idea of these shenanigans.

There's no difference, he's just not Grin™ing in the 2nd photo.

The reason is Botox.

I think the ROTS version looks better, his browline is sharper and his eye are more slanted inward; but it is kind of weird how it changes between movies.

I guess Lucas figured that if Mark Hamill could get a new face between ANH and ESB, then why not Kit Fisto?:p

Maybe they misplaced the original mask, and had to come up with a new one. (Yeah... that's the ticket!)

I always liked his face in the Clone Wars cartoon, the smile was priceless.

Thanks for ruining the movie for me. How can I watch it now knowing of this huge error!

Wow, I never noticed that before. The definitely changed his brow and eyes in the second movie. I prefer the first version. The second one reminds me too much of a "little gray men" alien.

I'll give you a hint Chux, the blame starts with an "L" and ends with an "asss". The ROTS head is narrower, especially at the chin, and has a noticeably smaller forehead. Way to suck, ILM jerks.

you know what would have been a great idea merchandise-wise (and be glad it didn't happen)
in each film of the PT, the main characters should have been TOTALLY recast, like diffrent ethnicities and everything, Obi could have been a white british actor in the first film, a black guy in the sceond movie and an asian in the third- THINK of the variant figures you'd "need" to cover THAT :D
:beard: Iso&Baws

That would have been brilliant

He went from being a bit player to having a major scene and the mask needed to have a little more design to it?

i was just gonna say that too. the ROS mask was geared towards close ups and better fitted to the actors face. although I do like the first mask better.

I know he was played by a different guy in AOTC than ROTS, and I can chalk the other changes up to added wrinkles or whatever. I didn't even notice it until this thread (even though it was started like a year ago).

The reason is Botox.

I think it's actually jaundice.

It's so funny you posted that pic. I was thinking that the little thing looked like Kit Fisto!!

Maybe the molt them and grow more humanoid appendages as they mature... like tadpoles when they grow into frogs!!!

I'm a bigger fan of Kit's ROTS look than his other. Stuntman Ben Cooke stepped in to play him in ROTS. Zach Jensen playd him in AOTC was working on (I believe) Survivor at the time ROTS was filming.

Saesee Tiin's look also changed between AOTC and ROTS also. Another change in actors is a reason.

As seen in this video (http://starwars.com/video/view/000795.html), it looks like Ahsoka's holding a baby Nautolan, or something, seven seconds in. I can only see the head, and it reminded me of the MIB baby once again.
