View Full Version : How much money is in your wallet?

$24 bucks for me....which is unusual. I rarely carry cash on me, I always find myself swiping the card, just seems easier, and if I ever got pick-pocketed I could hopefully cancel the cards fast enough before someone used them.

I have 1 dollar which is a gold dollar coin. Other than that, I use my Debit/Credit Cards.

Two bucks, though I did buy breakfast this morning with some more cash I had. I too use check debit constantly, and I think it's one of mankind's greatest inventions. In fact, the only reason I have this much cash is because I put movie tickets and lunch for four people on my card yesterday and everyone paid me back in cash.

At the moment I have a $5 bill in my wallet, a $20 bill that I got from my Step Daughter to be for my birthday, $11 dollars that is the change that belongs to my fiance after we went to Wal-Mart this morning, but she is letting me keep to pay for parking when we go to the concert tonight.

You know, I've been thinking about this question for a little while now, and I've come to the conclusion that it is none of your damn business how much money is my wallet, thank you very much!

;)

But if you must know DQ, there is NO MONEY in my wallet. Not one dollar, not one cent. I don't like to carry cash, I just charge everything to one of my several credit cards (I like the cash back/gift cert. bonuses). Cash seems to leave my wallet quicker, and more frequently too, more so than the credit card, which is another reason I don't like to carry cash.

I don't own a wallet, but I've got $42 in my drawer and roughly $400 in checks and giftcards (graduation = sweet).

Turned out I had $113 in my wallet, including the dollar coin. I gave my sister the 12 singles to help pay for dinner though.

I don't own a wallet. And as I'm currently wearing pajamas there's no money about my person. Generally I carry a credit and debit card and try bloody hard not to carry any real money because it's disgusting filthy stuff. I have about GBP 20 (roughly US $40) in a cash box in my room. The rest lives in the bank.

So that's not a roll of quarters!:lipsrsealed:

Cash seems to leave my wallet quicker, and more frequently too, more so than the credit card, which is another reason I don't like to carry cash. That's kind of my philosophy. With plastic, I refuse to make a purchase less than two or three dollars (unless absolutely necessary) because it seems like a waste of time. If I have a few ones in my wallet, suddenly I must have a scratch-off ticket and beef jerky.

There's nothing in my wallet at present. Usually there's $20 to $40 in there for fast food and quick little purchases. I'd like to think I keep the presidents in there so tight they come out screaming, but it's not the case.

Money is filthy stuff (luker) as Jargo says. I always watch the cashier in a fast food place to see if they handle money and food which they are not supposed to do. Sometimes I wonder if money passes around alot of sickness because it's handled so much. You may as well be wiping your arse with it and that's not too far from what's on it.

Think about it, you almost should wash your hands after getting your change back before you eat.

I keep a small bottle of hand sanitizer with me for that very reason. You don't know who's handled what as far as cash goes.

Currently, I have a twenty ($20), two fives ($10), and seven ones ($7) in paper bills. I always (seriously) carry two quarters ($.50), three dimes ($.30), three nickels ($.15), and five pennies ($.05). The bills are just what I've gotten for change, but the coins are so I can make change (or provide change) for any possible amount.

Well, if you don't expose your body to germs every once in a while then how do you ever expect to build up any immunities?

I will add that today alone I made $300 from graduation cards (much of it at the party itself). Hot nuts! I feel like I should save some of it, but I need a buttload of money for July 26. Ah well, hopefully I'll get a job soon.

Well you have enough to buy an AT-TE and the Falcon now. Add in about $20 for sales tax and you still have $30 for new figures. I'd say that's a pretty good deal.

$70 but I don't like to carry that much...most of this will be squirreled away in a stash I have for next week (I get paid every two weeks so I like to pull out cash for the next two weeks and make it last for said period of time).

My Fiance gave me $120 toward rent/bills. That stayed in my wallet for about three blocks, then almost half went into my car in the form of $4.12 a gallon gas. Rediculous!

I've got $75.51 right now. That's a little high for me. Normally I like to have between $40 to $20 on me at one time. I try to never carry more than $100 unless necessary.
