How can all these "men" be disciplined into being professional soldiers? How are these guys going to find living as humans with no women, when millions of identical "brothers" are being manufactured in laboratories?
Well, clone troopers are 10 year olds. They are essentially 5th graders. They are growth accelerated to appear 20 years old and fill out adult armor, but they are children, mentally. They might be genetically denied the hormones to make them function as 20 year old "adults," thus they are just tall, physically imposing 5th graders (10 year olds).
"The Force can be a strong influence on the weak-minded." Well, don't you think it's easier to undermine stubborness in a child - or appeal to their strong desire to please an adult authority figure with whatever progress they can display?
They get "a star" and a "happy progress report" on their Imperial Citizenship Chart if they shoot the bad Jedi when their nice benefactor Mr. Palpatine asks them to do him a favor.
They are formidable fighters that look like adults, but have you ever seen a Little League team with very talented and well-practiced kid athletes? OK, so it's also possible for these guys to drive AT-TEs and handle V-wings, but still be 5th Graders willing to do that for "a star on their Imperial Citizenship report."
And it is easy enough to dupe children such that they will not actually grow up to mature mentally into adulthood for the majority, as they are disposable soldiers and they won't live long enough for the Empire to have to bother with a veterans' medical plan. In fact, I bet that wounded troops are killed in the Empire's hospital beds when their caregivers come around with cherry-flavored poison and tell the unsuspecting trooper, "this will make you feel better." In probably 99% of the cases, the troops don't live long enough to tell anyone anything otherwise.
And I don't think exposing that, if used by the Rebellion as propoganda, would work anyway, because the Clones would not believe it. Their training commanders are like the only parents they know. Would YOU have believed some stranger who approached you under suspect conditions and then told you that your own parents were planning to poison you or something?
The Clone Army was definitely effective and dangerous.
