View Full Version : Anakin's "Tattoo" ?

In the animated CW series, when Anakin is fighting Asaji Ventress, we see him with a "tattoo" those blue markings on the one shoulder. Yet in ROTS,there are no markings.
Is is a tattoo or was it some kind of tribal marking when he was with those people on the ice planet(in the CW series). Or perhaps I have too much free time to be thinking about this.

I haven't watched it in awhile, but weren't they symbiote creatures that crawled around on him and created the "tattoo?"

Yeah, that scene was just Anakin on peyote and magic mushrooms, it doesn't really count.

I don't think it was a permanent tatoo. I forget the term for it. But basically it's an ink that dries on top of your skin. Lasts for a few days then fades away (or can be washed away if scrubbed hard enough).

Did the markings look like this?

That's what I was thinking. I had a Henna Tattoo done years before I got a real one. It lasted for well over a week.

Hmm...Probably was something henna-like . Although a tattoo would have helped Anakin with his street cred.

So those are Kelvan Henna Worms?
I also think they are perfect for crude drafting, as they only turn sharp corners.

Yeah... but they can go from 0 to 60 in under 2 seconds. :o
