When you get Star Wars music stuck in your head, which song is it? For me it is usually the Imperial March:evil:  and I also get the cantina song stuck in my head on occasion. What I really hate is when I get the ewok celebration song stuck in my head......Aggggggggh!:crazed:

I always have it stuck in my head...sub-conciously actually. :D Sometimes when I'm just whistling or something I end up whistling the theme without realizing it.

I usually start whistling the Force theme without realizing it and my daughter says "Da-ad:mad: Stop singing Star Wars! "

She also knows "Jurrasic Park" "Superman" and "E.T." But I have to stop singing no matter which one and "...do the Tigger song!!"

The wonderful thing about Tiggers
is Tiggers are wonderful things!
Their tops are made out of rubber!
Their bottoms are made out of springs!
Their bouncy, flouncy, trouncy, bouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun.
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is I'm the only one. Oh,
I'm the only one!

- The Ewok theme (though I usually am thinking of the Jawa theme when I'm humming it)
- Imperial March
- Luke's theme (specifically from over the Sarlacc pit when R2 shoots out the lightsaber)
- the 20th Century Fox fanfare (I know, not technically SW music, but you know it IS! ;))

Don't forget the Cantina Band's song, that sucker's just about everywhere, how can you miss that? :D

I get the (presumably Jawa?) theme in my head with the Gonk Droid in ANH going "Gonk....gonk,gonk...." as if it's part of the score :crazed:

The one I get in my head and then have hell trying to sing is the Fanfare at the end of EP1. I've broken quite a lot of spoons that way ;)

edit: dayum! "Spoons" not "sppons"

Well, there's been a little debate about the Boba Fett theme on this site lately, so that's my recent one. But for consistent head-stuckness, I'd go with "Lapti Nek." Yes, "Lapti Nek." Deal with it! :frus:
This could be a BSLOS for some:
"Ok wickin a fizzy... Coochah pastik su izsawit! Wow!"

Is the imperial march song, the darth vader one? I love that one.

Is it true Celine Deon will be singing a song for episode II?

I wish they would put some Han Zimmer songs in episode II....

I always sing the Imperial march and Palpatines theme in the shower followed by Yoda's theme which somehow merge into each other. I've tried to sing the jawa theme but it isn't easy with a mouthful of shampoo :P

The bathroom acoustics are great for the 20c fanfare though which i like to belt out at every opportunity. Jedi Rocks is one I tried but i can never remember it past the Joh Yowza introduction. I usually just cut from that to "Oh-oh!" I always want to remember Binary sunset but even though I have it in my head I can't sing it for the life of me. strange that......

No, Celine is not singing a song in Ep. II. That was a rumor that was shot down. And yes the Imperial March is Darth Vader's song. And, Darth Dubious, you try to hard, just let it flow out...:D

I once had the theme from Casper the Friendly Ghost stuck in my head during a calculus test. Funny thing was that I hadn't seen that show in years.

The Cantina song usually sticks in my head because it has such a catchy tune.
The Imperial March and the main theme also get in my head alot.
Oh, and another thing,
Although it doesnt really get stuck in my head (it probably will now) I think Yoda's theme is very pleasant and peaceful.

I get the main theme in my head, sometimes the Jawa theme, sometimes Vader's theme...

What drives me crazy is when I listen to the soundtracks, and my mind "inserts" the sound effect and dialog...

"Commander tear this ship apart until you've found those plans! And bring me the passengers, I want them alive!"

"Luke? Luke!"
"I'll be right there Aunt Beru!"

And sometimes, when I'm trying to fall asleep at night, I get the orchestral score going through my head. Not just the "tune" - I mean all the instruments, the sub-melodies, etc.etc.

Scary. :-)

Actually the one Star Wars song that get stuck in my head is not in the movie. Its a Techno bit done by The Aphex Twins. Its called Star Wars Theme(Trance Techno Mix). Now b/4 you get all "techno is crap music" on me you sould give it a listen first. :)

Also, maybe everyone here can help me. A few years ago I heard this Star Wars song on the radio. I think it was around ANH re-release in the theater. The sond went something like:

There's music and blasters,
And old Jedi masters,
At the Star Warrrsssss . . .
STAR WARS CANTINAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or something like that. Anyone know the name or heard it b/4?!?!? . . . . .I know I'm not crazy . . . . . mostly. :crazed:

1. Cantina Theme

2. Lapti Nek (Original Sy Snootle gig)

3. "They fight, they bite,
they bite and fight and bite
bite, bite, bite
fight, fight, fight
The itchy and scratchy shoooowwwwwww!"
*I love that one, even though it's not Star Wars it's a very simple tune that gets completely and utterly stuck in your head for hours (prob. due to its simplicity) :)

4. Mr Burn's "Kathy Lee Gifford for Carnival Cruise Lines" analogy song..."Come see my vest, see my vest, it's made from Gorilla's chest...see these gophers...former loafers..." and so on...that for sure is a classic but I can't remember all the words so those are the ones that are floating around in my mind continuously.

1 - 4 are interchangeable in my head along with the star wars parody song "Star Wars Cantina...the weirdest creatures you've ever seena...at the star wars, star wars canteeeeenaaaa" to the tune of Coppa, Coppa Cabana... "her name was leia, she was a princess, with a danish on each ear and darth vader drawing near..."

I wish, I just really wish I could remember all the words to all the songs I get in my head just to impress or maybe repel(sp? too lazy to look in dictionary at moment) those around me

 :sur:

Gadzooks, I guess I better read ALL of the posts before giving my 2 cents worth. Just get so excited ya know lol

The song is called Star Wars Cantina, I have it in a midi/au. file on my 'puter if anyone wants it, i also have a few more star wars parody song as well. I got them in 1993 or something like that before the internet was available to the likes of Maybelline, Covergirl, Viagra, Stayfree Maxi-pads, etc. so the recordings aren't the best but they sure are fun to listen to!

I always thought that the Mr. Burns' song "See My Vest" was more of a parody of "Be Our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast ("Be our guest, be our guest, put our service to the test"). He even does that hat and cane trick like the candlestick in the movie. But heck, that would be another crummy one to have stuck in your head.

You are probably correct but if you remember, Kathy Lee Gifford also does the hat and cane thang on the Carnival Cruise commercial and it is just so much cheezzzier.....come on, it's Kathy Lee Gifford! :) and the song she sings is the same one from B&B. :)

I usually have the Main Theme music in my head.
Sometimes the imperial march and also cantina.

Boy .. just can't get those music out of my head.
I hope that SW II have the same quality soundtrack or better still greater soundtrack than all the previous Star Wars.....

The hat and cane thing is a classic Broadway bit, it didn't originate with any Kathy Lee commercial or Disney neo-classic.

Mr Burns' song is a direct parody of "Be Our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast.

Actually, I wasn't saying the hat and coat thing originated from those songs/movies, just saying that she does that same thing as they do in B&B and Burnsie's song. :)
