I'd rather have a realistic-style Odd Ball, but whatever.

There is a ROTS Clone Pilot in the Imperial Pilots Evolution set. They are clones, so whether it is designated Odd Ball shouldn't make a difference.

Meh, I might get C-3PO, but that's only if the clone wars R2-D2 looks any good in person. If he isn't any good, I won't be getting any of the clone wars figures.

I'm still passing on these animated figures.

Good news is according to a recent Q&A, Hasbro DOES have plans to release realistic versions of clone wars specific characters. As to when that's still not known. But knowing this now, makes it that much easier for me to pass up the animated line.

I think the animated ones will grow on me after I've seen the film in theaters.

It shouldn't, but it does. The clone pilots have different symbols on their helmets.

dang, it's getting harder and harder to resist the animated figs. I want Cody and prolly Ashoka now...

GRRR. If I don't get those exclusive figures the first day, I'm going to regret getting any of the other ones. Especially if I never find the exclusive ones again.

Damnit Hasbro!

I was only going to get one or two of these figures...

I won't troop build any of them, but then again the Battle Droid is cool to me...damn... I hat you Hasbro and LFL for not only making new shows, but new toys in a different format...(and I dislike that I'm getting weak on my stance for these).

That Plo Koon figure is awesome! Ashoka seems taller than she should be.

I love how some of our resident anti animated figure denizens are slowly turning from the dark side. Search your feelings, Sal, you want to collect the CW line :p

C-3PO is the only one who's even marginally tempting. But I have no room for a lone C-3PO, so I'll pass.

The only figure I'm tempted on is Ahsoka, and I'll hold out hope we see her in realistic style before long. There is just no place for her as my only animated style figure.

Otherwise, I was never tempted by the animated style figures that came out with Tartakovsky's Clone Wars either. Actually, I'm kind of curious why the animated style toys that came out with that series didn't receive the same amount of outcry as these have.

But the vehicles. Oh, how I can't stand waiting for the AT-TE! Some Torrents will be nice too, but not like the walker.

Simple. We knew they would be a limited run, since there was an announced amount of cartoons. That alone told us there would be a limit to the amount of figures produced from the show.

With this open-ended format for the new cartoon show, that has changed it all. Many of us are worried that the animated line will take over, or at least take some spots that should be used for realistic style figures.

Oh and FB...glad to see you are calling the animated figs the "dark side." See, we were right about them...they are evil.

And I haven't yet succumbed to it. Just teetering on the edge.

So . . . dose this mean 3po will be out on the 26th? Because other than him and R2, I refuse to buy any of the animated style figures. I'm only getting them because they remind me of the Droids cartoon show I used to watch when I was 4 or 5 and to put on my shelf with the only two Indiana Jones figures I am ever going to buy.

Also, there were already realistic-style versions of the characters from the first animated Clone Wars line (or they came out shortly thereafter), so it was no big deal. I want realistic versions of Anakin and Obi-Wan in their armor, for example, but Hasbro said they wouldn't do those.

Still holding strong, strong indeed.

The only figure i've been tempted to get is the R2-D2 and i looked at the Battle Droid as i hate the Realstic ones...if the CW Battle Droid oh i don't know could stand on it's own, and had some articulation i would buy them on that merrit.

Though i will get the Ashoka...but other than that the whole lines a pass.

1 Ball-jointed head.
2 Ball-jointed shoulders.
2 Ball-jointed hips.
1 Swivel waist.
2 Swivel elbows.

They're these kind of ball-joints though.

That Super Battle Droid is awesome! I think I'll get a few of him, I just wonder how top-heavy the figure will be.

I'm interested to see the Destroyer Droid.

He definitely seems a bit more sturdy than those camouflage ones in the TSC line. Still, I think his leg was a little warped when I was finally able to pull it out of the package. For now he seems to be standing pretty well on his own. My Saga 2002 versions have become kind of warped and unstable.
