I'll take that bet. She died in 1991.

Most old fogies like me remember Dottie her song "Country Sunshine" which was used in a Coca-Cola commercial and gained wide-spread popularity. Ask your great-great-great grandparents...they'll remember!

The reason must be that "beginning of the new school year funk" permeating the atmosphere now. At least in my house.

Yep. It's officially begun. Mrs. TI7 was putting together lesson plans of the new curriculum last night. Also the Teacher Hotline was burning over the weekend with phone calls among the teachers, comparing notes over students moving into the 3rd grade (my wife's realm).

This is the time of year where there's a great disturbance in the Force.

pbarnard
08-03-2009, 12:09 PM
The only disturbance in my house hold is Baby Stir Fry partying all night in utero and my wife saying, the baby is assaulting me on the inside.

pbarnard

I'd imagine like whisling, since they respire through their exoskeletons, and don't have a digestive tract.

mtriv73
08-03-2009, 03:58 PM
They most certainly do have a digestive tract. Caterpillars are basically a mouth, a stomach, and a butt. One long (relatively speaking) biofuel processing plant.

pbarnard
08-03-2009, 04:12 PM
But do they have sphincters, you know, round smooth muscle used to contract tubular openings in mammals like the openings to the stomach, intestines, bladder etc?

Actually, it's a style of music from Brazil incorporating samba rhythm with grasshopper flatulence instead of heavy percussion.

The dance of love is what you get in those clubs in downtown Baltimore for $150 (plus tip). Ususally it's followed the next morning by the dance of regret. Also, it should not be confused with the dance of really like which we all did in middle school.

As long as your Kidneys are fully functional, you should be able to eat as much NaCl as you want without any effect at all on your blood pressure. They (or it in BF's case) will just excrete the excess.

pbarnard
08-06-2009, 11:40 AM
