Alison Krauss released an amazing album with Robert Plant.

I'm sure TeeEye knew that already.

Yessiree! I've got it. Took a while to get into it, but it's good stuff!

T-Bone Burnett produced and got the two together for the project. Check out their performances on Youtube.

T-Bone Burnett is a god among men.

By the way, the woman can respond, "I want you now. I want you now. Recuerdos a todos. Recuerdos a todos."

Just an in-joke for anyone who's seen that movie. The rest of you are deprived.

1987. Fun stuff. Check it out at Blockbuster or Netflix, if you have 90 minutes of your life you want to waste.

Although..........Corinne Alphen (credited at Corinne Wahl in the movie) is in it. Hotcha!

"Two for the Road" is on now with Albert Finney & Audrey Hepburn (1967)... wow, A.F. was young... don't think I ever saw anything before he was old. I saw him in "A Good Year" 2006 with Russell Crowe, "Big Fish" 2003 with Ewan McGregor and "Bourne Ultimatum" 2007 of course with Matt Damon. Oh, he was in "Erin Brockovich" 2000, now I remember him in that. Anyway, weird seeing him young.

Oh, and William Daniels (didn't know the name) is in it... recognized him eventually from some old tv show. Thought it was as Tom Selleck's boss in "Magnum PI", but that was the wrong guy. He was in "St. Elsewhere" & the voice of K.I.T.T in the orginal "Knight Rider"

yeah... it's weird how newer and newer music gets into the classics now, though. I remember being shocked around the '90's when I was listening to an oldies station (which I thought of as 50's & 60's) and heard some 70's music... not sure what oldies counts as now.

Like when the Police came out... they were new wave.... now they're classics.

the "oldies" station here plays very little 60s, some 70s, and mostly 80s music

I'm starting to get nostalgic for a lot of 90s music now. Mostly stuff from the post-grunge era like early Foo Fighters, Semisonic (I only really like their first album: Great Divide), Smashing Pumpkins (again only a couple of albums of theirs that I really like), and Beck (mostly Odelay and that's about it).

Saw the U23D movie... that was pretty cool. But all of my favorite U2 songs came out by Joshua Tree (maybe a couple of later songs, but mainly from Boy, War, Unforgettable Fire and Joshua Tree).

I've been listening to a lot of Foo Fighters & Red Hot Chili Peppers this past year. FF played in St. Louis last year (I'm sure they were everywhere), but I was a little cash strapped at the time and missed the concert.

Oh, Joshua Tree is definitely one of the best albums ever. It's such a fantastic record and Bono's voice is damn near flawless in it. I LOVE his vocal work in "Running to Stand Still."

I've been listening to "The Wrestler" by Bruce Springsteen lately; very good tune and i'm hoping to see the movie when it goes wide this weekend.

Anyone see on VH1 (I think it was classic VH1) the Classic Albums series? They did the Joshua Tree and had a section where "Streets with no name" was driving Edge and the rest of them crazy trying to get it right. I love that song. I think that's song was where the movie "Rattle & Hum" shifted from b&w to color. ... and being a huge Beatles fan, I loved the homage to them in the video for streets, where they play on the rooftop.

Have you tried the Stone Hearth Red Baron, it's pretty good, different. I also like the Red Baron French Bread pizzas!

The challenge he took was he had to eat 6 of their turkey, ham, and cheese sandwiches. They all had french fries in them and were on french bread. He passed the challenge.
They gave him an hour time limit, he had it done in less than 25 minutes.

Hell no, that guy is annoying. This guy is Adam Richman...he goes from city to city taking the biggest food challenges!! He is Star Wars fan too.

Here (http://www.travelchannel.com/TV_Shows/Man_v_Food) is some info about the show. It comes on Wednesday nights at 10pm my time.

Yeah, I agree. I think he does a cooking show or some type of food critiquing thing.

Adam Richman just goes from city to city and eats!! What a great job that must be. He did an online chat a few weeks ago and he said that between taping shows he always goes for a checkup at the doctor. :)

Last week I covered for a coworker that worked 9-6... nice sleeping in, but come 3:30, time seemed to stop. On Friday, I offered to start a new shift: 9am-3:30pm, but my boss didn't think I was serious. I would do it and they wouldn't even have to pay me extra to test out this new shift... "I'm a little loose."

"I have you now."

"You're all clear kid now, lets blow this thing and go home."

One of my favorites with my wife when we were doing things like that was...."This is Red 5, Im going in" :D

since you're getting it, that means we'll get some form of it to the east here in Toledo. We're supposed to get really REALLY cold temps and another 3-5 inches of snow already on top of our 7-8 inches.

And since I have an 8 a.m. class tomorrow, this should be AWESOME. :upset:

Well since I am not on the schedule to work At Wal-Mart, I don't have to go in. I'm only on the schedule for yesterday (Sunday), but my management team told me I could work 40 hours. If it's bad in the morning like they are saying, I may just chose to stay home instead.

as cold as it is, I would just as soon have snow... but since my ex got the house, I don't have to worry about shoveling driveways, sidewalks, etc, so it doesn't affect me as much.

You think your winning, but your not, you've been pawned!

Best if sung to the old Imperial Margerine commercial song.

My brothers dog is half dachshund and half doberman, but he doesn't like it when I call it a weiner-pinscher.
