IF YOU'LL HAPPEN TO be in Los Angeles at the beginning of May (the first
weekend, May 2-3), my former employer is having an open house: NASA's
Jet Propulsion Lab. They rarely had them when I worked there, and it's
usually VERY difficult to get in there if you don't have business
there, so this is a great opportunity if you're interested is space.
Many of the staff will be on hand to answer questions, too. It's free.

I won't be out there, but if I were I'd sign up, it sounds like it could be interesting.

"The following items are not permitted at this NASA/JPL Event: weapons, explosives, incendiary devices, dangerous instruments, alcohol, illegal drugs, pets, all types of skates including skateboards, segways and bicycles. No bags, backpacks or ice chests are allowed, with the exception of small purses and diaper bags."

Boy, they take the fun out of everything!

Just a reminder for those who may be interested.

The good doctor was kind enough to bring this to our attention and I think it's worthy of a reminder since the time is fast approaching.

That sounds cool and if I lived in the area I'd check it out.

I know people who work there...

Another great place year round is Kennedy Space Center. I recomend the NASA Up Close Tour.
