I immediately thought Cin Drallig for that first "unknown," too. What's the deal on these?

I'm guessing they're in those Target two-packs slated for this year. Hasbro confirmed these sets, and the fact that Coleman Trebor is in this series. I bet they'll have battle droids or clones packed with them, but I don't know.

These look awesome, though. Kit doesn't look like he's smiling, but he's still awesome. I love the outstretched hand to push down C-3PO.

Ponytail Jedi could be Roan Shryne, methinks.

"Unknown Jedi" is more likely Joclad Danva, which is great, since I want all the Jedi from the survivors circle.

I don't know who the others are, but I'm glad we're finally getting a bunch of human arena Jedi, which have pretty much been ignored up until now.

liking the images. couold be some cool stuff if these are the Target 2 pack sets. i think i would prefer if they came with droids over Clones, easier to pass on army building (for me at least) - would rather build the clones then droids.

the younglings are cute. I want.

Cin Drallig would be cool, and Joclad Danva would be cool. Both have been on my want list for a long time. I'm not really feeling the younglings, but I'd pick them up. It'd be pretty welcome for me if Hasbro shows the arena Jedi some love. If they make Drallig, though, I'm going to be really interested in Serra Keto.

But in any event, I'm happy to be looking forward to some Jedi goodness in '09.

I guess Cin Drallig wouldn't appear in any AOTC themed jedi 2-packs so Joclad makes more sense. If these sets do end up coming with battle droids then they had really better be some new sculpt. I don't care if they are all the exact same droid with each new jedi as long as they aren't the same POS that Hasbro keeps ramming down our throats.

Wait: Chris Hansen is finally going to get an action figure? Cool!

Just for the record . . . it looks like Kit Fisto uses the ROTS Kit body (with new head and right hand), Roan Shryne uses the TAC Mace Windu body, and Joclad Danva uses the Evolution NJO Luke body, which means he'll be super short. I can't tell what the other guy is.

On that note; the younglings use the Saga body from the Ashla & Jempa 2-pack, just with new heads (and it looks like they don't come with the training helmets?). I don't know about the last one either though. It looks like the detailing isn't very sharp on the upper torso... it's either from an older figure or maybe this is a custom that people are trying to pass off as a prototype?

um, I'm pretty sure they're AOTC themed, and so probably not....

But you were supposed to be a killer of Sith, not a Sith who kills!

Yeah, well those kids look pretty evil to me, best not to take any chances!

Besides, didn't Webster used to hang out with Michael Jackson.

I just thought of that line from School of Rock, but paraphrased:

I have been touched by your younglings, and I'm pretty sure I've touched them.

the pony tail jedi could possibly be Master Thom, Quinlan and aayla's master

Tycho
01-16-2009, 12:26 AM
That would be THOLME (Quinlan's master who completed the training of Aayla Secura).

And I'd love a figure of Tholme should Hasbro ever decide to make him.

He'd be a welcome surprise like Tol Skorr was. A comic 2-pack with one of those clone Nikto warriors the CIS attempted to employ would be really cool though.

I would love to see Roan Shryne, but only people that read Dark Lord would know who the heck he is.

I figured pony-tailed Jedi would be Cin, since he the more angled shoulder-tunic, kind of like Anakin.

I wish they would go back to the AOTC version of Kit Fisto. He looks friendlier, IMO. The ROTS costume looks sort of creepy and scary.

I remember Roan Shryne. James Luceno is the best Star Wars EU author!

(However, Labrynth of Evil was probably his best book, followed closely by Cloak of Deception - and his NJO entries were very good as well. I love the way he wrote for Han Solo!)

But in Dark Lord, when Darth Vader visited Bail Organa on Alderaan - it just gave me shivers. That was a great part of his story!

AMEN! Labrynth of Evil ties with Shadows of the Empire as my favorite SW book of all time. I am reading Millenium Falcon right now and am really getting excited as to where it will go!
