I'm sure everyone has heard about the peanut butter maker in Georgia (and now Texas) that has been selling salmonella contaminated peanut butter. I'm sure also that many of you know that it only affects "institutional" peanut butter not your favorite brand in a jar on the shelf.

I'm like so what? I want the thrill of eating something that is bad and could possibly make me very sick. It's the same reason people eat puffer fish!

I work at a state university in the medical school/hospital. We have several cafeterias spread throughout this area of our campus. Each sell a peanut butter rice krispie treat covered in chocolate. I've been finding myself purchasing it daily, just hoping...Am I chasing a thrill?

Is that wrong?

George Carlin after going through a rant on the dangers of polluted water told the crowd, you know what, <insert 1/7 dirty words here> IT! I drink it anyway. And did.

And while having that, were you thinking, what if I get sick from it?

To Rob Reiner, aphrodesiac!

Switched to peanut butter inside a pretzle piece. Still seeing if anything could happen.

Tell that to George Washington Carver, who died penniless and insane, still trying to play a phonograph record with a peanut.

You are correct sir!

As for the first two syllables of the word, that's what the peanut company is deep in, for the moment.

Eating tainted peanut butter can't be any worse than a visit to your local neighborhood Taco Bell, so why not? Besides, as I always say, a cleansed colon is a happy colon.

I love it though it hurts me so

Now I'm going to pack my lunch and go.

Once I ran to get peanut butter,

Now I run from peanut butter....

This tainted peanut butter you've given
I'm straining so hard my neighbor can hear me
Take my tears and that's not nearly all
Oh...tainted peanut butter
Tainted peanut butter
