I saw Target here lowered prices on basic figs to $7.49. Anyone else notice this and I forget to check the other stuff, Titaniums, Comic packs etc.

I know at my Wal-Mart prices went up on several Star Wars items, like battle packs and comic packs, figures stayed around $7.50 though.

My Target also had them for $7.49 tonight, which is definitely easier to stomach than $7.99. Hopefully they'll stay here for a while.

They were as high as $8.79 at one of my local Targets!

I realize it is actually a lower price, but mentally, if there's still the same dollar amount in front of the decimal point, I can't fathom it as "lower." Make it a week-long $6.99 sale, they might really reduce their stock (instead of people expecting the pre-.established 40+% slashing on everything months later)

I was hoping when I heard lower prices, they'd be down near 4.99!

Basic figures are on sale for $6.99 this week at Target.

I remember when that price was the norm!

Too bad my Target has ZERO figures that I need/want.

The vehicles are on sale too, $17.99 if I recall along with the Evo packs.

But if you remember to do so, take a peak at the tags under the sale price. The new 'regular' price on the figures is $8.24 or something.

Target is clearing out the last two UBP's. $38.49 and they got the Battle of Christophsis to re-ship. Bought mine yesterday. Waiting for the skiff to drop lower.

Buddy who works at Target in mgmt says AT-TE'S and BMF will be coming in and at clearance prices. He says Target is in real financial monkeycrabs.:(

I saw figures at $8.24 today at a Target, which is ridiculous. I also saw, however, that they now do a price match similar to what Walmart has always done (bring in a newspaper ad from that week), so that is awesome to know.

Wow, even Toys R us is beating them on prices. I saw (and left untouched)pegs full of titaniums for over $8 each the other day at the target in town. Walmart is close to sold out at $6.84 for the same items.

Funny, I asked specifically at a Target about two weeks ago if they could still match competitors' prices, and was told they no longer did that. By a cashier and a manager. Wonder if it's a store-level thing?

There were signs at each of the checkout lanes that looked official. I hadn't seen them at a different Target that I went to just a few days earlier, so either they just started doing it (again?) or it's only at that store and some random other ones. Look for the signs up there next time you go, I guess.

Target is really disorganized here too. $8.24 is insane, but the local comic store is selling new figures for $11.99 to $14.99 now. I think these are going to sit there awhile.:upset:

I haven't bought a Hasbro figure for my collection in years.

These days I'm all about Gentle Giants and Kotobukiya.

Any chance Target will be selling anything by one of these companies?

Hey guys, The Sarlacc ultimate battle back dropped below $13 at one area Target. Just thought some might pick it up at that price.

I paid $8.24 each for the 3 CW figures that I found on Monday. While not ideal, it's not like my local TRU's and WM's are getting the latest waves in.

That's worse than what the Kaybee toy stores were charging. It's criminal.

It's still not as bad as the $8.99 K-mart is charging around here. I'd have to be pretty desperate to buy from them.

The Target near me has the Evolutions sets on sale for $15 (instead of the $22 normal price), and the Mighty Muggs are around $8. No such price drop on the "regular" figures. Yet.

I saw the Evo set on clearance here in Portland, too.

The Portland area Targets all have different prices on vehicles and figures. On one side of town the vehicles are $19.99 and the figures are $8.49. On the other side of town, the figures are $7.49 and the vehicles are $24.99.

Fortunately I haven't seen anything I wanted at the higher prices or else I would ask them if they price match their own stores.
