Has anyone seen these yet? My TRU got a few in with the Darth Maul. I have to say, it's a really cool-looking figure. Don't like that the coat is brown instead of blue, but the only thing really stopping me from buying it is the $79.99 price point.

Interesting thing is, both of these figures seemed to slip in under the radar. I haven't seen nor heard anything of them on the boards.

You are referring to the 12" Diamond select star wars line. You can get the 12" maul at action figure express for $47.99 plus shipping. I am not too excited about this line, but I have not seen any of these figures in person. They look okay, but not worth the price the retailers are asking.

They're not 12", that's Sideshow. DST's 1:4 (or quarter scale) line are 18-19", and it may seem pricy at TRU, but when you consider that a Sideshow 12" figure is about $60-80 now, it sounds alot better.

Here are reviews for all the figures released so far:

I haven't seen them in person yet, but that Hoth Han looks fantastic. I'd rather Han have a blue jacket too.

The downside is the size. I typically avoid toys in scales other than 3-3/4" or 12" (or Micro). I have two Jack Sparrows (18") and Mr. Staypuft (22" I think) from NECA though.

I saw one today and was rather surprised by it.

The only one I have seen in person is the Maul. From what I could tell, it looked like a nice figure, but I wasn't too inclined to buy it because of the pricetag attached to it.

El Chuxter...surprised in a plus or minus way? Better than you expected?

Just didn't know it existed, nor that another company other than Hasbro or Sideshow was producing action figures.

It looked beautiful, but no way can I afford or house it.

Same deal for me, really. I saw this (and Maul) at the Forbidden Planet and TRU in New York City. I had never seen them in person or paid much attention to them online and they looked pretty cool, but just not for my collection.

Havnt been wild about the likeness on this one. But I need to see it in person methinks. I'm holding out till the Emperor comes out.

Boy, my TRU is not interested in stocking this line at all. Is Maul the only figure out?

Maul's the only one I've seen locally at TRU.

Still only Maul at my TRU.

Might get the Emperor. But so far I think the human sculpts look like Hasbro's. Especially Han, Ben and Anakin.
