In TPM, when the Queen's protector takes a message on his handheld comlink and says his own name to initiate the conversation, it always sounds like "Binaca," and looks like he's squirting some breath spray into his mouth. (yeah, I know it's "Panaka," but that's not "goofy" enough for me :D )

I like the odd little phrases from Jar Jar and Boss Nass.

"Oh mooi mooi I love you"

"Well that smells stinklewith"

I used to call all the mechanics at the Ford dealership I worked at "you da mekaneeks"
or if we had to go get one "you bring da mekaneeks"

They didn't get it but I liked it.

I remember phrases more than any other quirks, and use them in daily life.
Though sometimes I'll misquote, and SW fans will correct me.

Here's a couple that stand out for me:

- The part in AOTC when Palpatine is talking to Anakin, and just before the scene cuts, you see them walking side-by-side, with Palpy's hands up in front of his stomach, pointed down, the same way the Emperor holds his. Excellent foreshadowing!

- The very first time Obi-Wan speaks, you are instantly reminded that this is meant to be a young Alec Guiness. Ewan McGregor nailed it perfectly!

- When Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan first ignite their lightsabers - it was at that point where it felt like SW again. Sadly, after the battle w/ the droids, that feeling didn't return until R2 appeared.

- Palpatine first trying to run (only to be called out), then screaming like a wimp as Yoda turned back the lightning. Here is the biggest, baddest guy in the galaxy, and yet even he knows that he can't beat Yoda. Heck, Yoda only lost that fight because of where he was standing when the Force-burst knocked them both back - Palpy clearly wasn't going to win otherwise.

- The drums of war to open ROTS - best opening sequence of the entire Saga, with all do respect to that of ANH.

I never thought he was mouthing anything, just intensely trying to beat Obi-Wan . . . when I get mad, I unintentionally bite my lower lip, so dunno, maybe it's like that.

As for the lightsabers, it seems that they were going to fight each other with each other's sabers for a little bit. That's evidenced by those shots as well as the Mustafar playset where the figures had each other's lightsabers. I'm not sure how that would have fit in to anything. Palpatine was also going to use Anakin's saber in the Mace fight, as seen in a few shots and on the figure, but again, that was changed somewhere along the way.

Given how skinny Natalie Portman is, Padme wasn't big enough to have carried one baby for four months, much less two babies so far beyond a normal pregnancy that they're completely awake and aware at birth. I think of the naboo pistols as "bwah bwah", and I also find it distractingly annoying.

"Now this is podracing" is quite an embarrassing line, but if Lucas hadn't been so heavy with the scissors in the editing room, it actually wouldn't have been at all, since it's a callback to a deleted scene line where R2 is chastising Anakin for not flying safely by reminding him that he's not piloting a pod anymore, to which Anakin replies "I know this isn't podracing!" The stupid "spinning, now that's a good trick" is similarly played wrong thanks to the edit.

I forgot about that, Ani and Qui-Gon are running from something that got cut in the edit, a Sith probe droid. So that scene is double-butchered. It never bothered me that they were running though. Actually, I'd say it's the directing in that scene that fails, Anakin barely has time to stop and notice Maul's incursion before yelping to Qui-Gon in the script, and on screen it's even faster which makes it difficult to decipher.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not the greatest at reading lips, but it looked to me that he said a common, two-word phrase that people use when telling someone off, and that I cannot repeat on this forum.
