As you are probably aware, Big Brother 11 is set to premiere this Thursday, July 7th at 8 pm (ET). The show will also air Sundays, at 8 pm, and Tuesdays at 9 pm, following the same format as in the past.

Big Brother After Dark will also continue to air on SHO2 between 12:00-3:00 AM (ET).

The cast has been known for a few days now, but the official link to the group of House Guests, with their Bios, can be found here (http://www.cbs.com/primetime/big_brother/bio/).

I am very curious to see what this "Mystery House Guest" is all about?!?!

Anyways, I hope this is a good season... and I'm very much looking forward to it!

It says Ronnie is a Star Wars collector . . . hopefully he represents us well. :D

I've always liked this show (apart from the winter skeezefest), so it will be fun to have it on again.

(apart from the winter skeezefest)

That season did own the best "After Dark" programming though... :p

But yeah, I'm really looking forward to this season. I hope it is a good one... and still curious about the Mystery House Guest. I wonder if it is a former contestant or what?

Boy, I missed this show!

Interesting group of people this year. I liked the idea of bringing back an old HG back. Jesse wasn't a favorite of mine last year, but I don't think he'll last too long.

UKWildcat
07-09-2009, 10:40 PM
Yeah, I really missed it as well. Glad to have it back!

I kinda like how BB predetermined alliances based on "clicks", definitely an interesting twist. I also like how the "click" got to bring a former House Guest back into the game too. Though, I was really wanting the Popular kids to win so we could see Jessica... and not Jessie. I couldn't stand Jessie last season, and the same will likely be said this season. Or maybe he went back and watched the tapes and realized what a douche he was?!? Either way, he did seem to be a bit more tame...

So far I have a few that I really like, and some that I don't care for. The rest are up in the air...

Out of the girls I like Jordan and Lydia. Laura, "Boobs", could be okay. Same with Michele. So far I am turned off by Chima and Natalie.

Out of the guys Braden and Jeff seem pretty cool. Casey and Kevin, "Ross the Intern", could be okay. Don't care much for Ronnie or Russell.

But these are first impressions and it is really too early to tell...

Wonder who Jessie will nominate?

Wonder who Jessie will nominate?

I bet it will be a geek or a brain, 'cause Jessie will feel threatened by them. Mentally, of course.

OC47150

Jessie is still full of crap, but for some reason, I'm finding him more amusing so far this season.

Princess Chima should be the one to go home, particularly after her little meltdown. The bad bedroom didn't look too bad. Hey, at least they got pillows and blankets!

Nice SW references there, Ronnie.

What were those words of surfer-dude wisdom from Braden? Has he taken one too many hits to the head from the old surf board? :cross-eye

And I kept thinking throughout the entire show: are Laura's boobs real or fake? :lipsrsealed:

Yeah, he seems to be a little more tolerable... but that probably won't last too much longer, lol.

Yeah, I completely agree! I can't stand her, she definitely needs to go. I'd much rather have Lydia in the house than her.

Nice SW references there, Ronnie.

This guy is really getting on my nerves, lol.

And I kept thinking throughout the entire show: are Laura's boobs real or fake? :lipsrsealed:

LOL. They are real...ly fake! ;)

I kinda like the Have / Have Not competition.

BB has certainly added some twists to this season, hope it continues.

I wonder how long it will be before the Cliques separate? I'm thinking after 5 weeks. Then they can really turn on each other. :D

Mr. JabbaJohnL
07-13-2009, 02:13 PM
It's been pretty good so far. Jessie bugs me to no end (and reminds me of a somewhat-family-member) but some of his stupidity can be funny. I like Lydia - the tattoo thing is kind of hot. I wonder if she's worked on any movies as a make-up artist?

I predict at least halfway mark, unless one team is picked off quicker than others. Then the producers will intervene and make changes.

Well, I really hope Chima leaves and Braden stays.

The athletes (minus Jeff) are really getting on my nerves. One of them is almost guaranteed to get evicted next week, depending on who wins HOH this week of course.

I didn't like how Lydia deflected to Braden like that, but I have to give her a little credit for playing the game and getting herself off the block.

"Boobs" is full of --it.

Ronnie is something else.

Lets hope the next HOH winner is a good one!

OC47150
07-15-2009, 06:43 PM
I agree: the athletes are in trouble. If not next week, shortly thereafter.

Russell is really making a butt of himself. He's full of it. And he's little outburst with Jeff in the backyard backfired on him. Russell was the one who looked bad, not Jeff.

I hope Braden stays, too. He's really laid back, has the surfer dude thing going.

I think the vote will be close. Maybe one or two vote difference.

OC47150
07-16-2009, 08:55 PM
Was that an explosive episode or what?!?

Whether she knows it or not, Chima has a bigger target on her back now than before.

I'm willing to bet Ronnie nominates an athlete.

UKWildcat
07-16-2009, 09:38 PM
I bet Ronnie nominates Jeff and Jordan.

I thought for sure the house flipped and was going to vote out Chima. But no, that little f***** had to flip back and vote Braden out?!?!? And then... the sonuvab**** gets HOH?!?!? Unreal. But, Ronnie, the turd, will have a bigger target on his back after this week, so that is good.

I don't like much of anyone left in the house. Jeff, Jordan, Michelle and Casey are all cool. Laura flipped from the Atlethes, which was cool and respectable.

It will be an interesting week.

I'm looking forward to BBAD tonight.

That Natalie is a big ol' piece of $#!+! Can't wait to see her leave.

OC47150
07-19-2009, 08:52 PM
Braden supposedly made derogatory comments about people of Latin descent. That's what Chima called him out on during the live show.

Darth Ronnie. How appropriate.

Interesting nominees. Whether Ronnie's plan holds together, we will know in a few days.

Nice luxury challenge, too, but I was expecting a food competition.

UKWildcat
07-19-2009, 09:57 PM
Ronnie's plan is complete BS.

Jessie, Natalie, Chima, Kevin and Lydia would still vote for Russell to stay, and for whomever else to leave. Ronnie would be a complete moron to do that, if the numbers aren't there - which they aren't.

If Jeff, Jordan, Laura, Casey and Michelle get picked off, I can totally see myself to quit watching this season... :(

OC47150
07-21-2009, 09:01 PM
My first reaction to Ronnie's replacement was, what the heck? But after he explained it, it might work. Laura is getting wise to Ronnie. But that would mean the one of the cutest girls in the house is gone. I just hope it's not Jordan.

Russell is not helping his case one darn bit. His explosions in the house only tick people off.

And the award to the HG Keeping the Lowest Profile of the Week (so far) goes to Kevin. Michele would be a close second.

07-23-2009, 07:08 PM
Hey guys - just got back from Africa - and had to catch up.

Interesting group - like Jeff, and Laura - Ronnie has overplayed his hand - but I think he will last a few weeks yet. Russel needs to do. what a jerk.

OC47150
07-24-2009, 05:27 PM
Guys, I think we saw a first: the entire house calling out one player at the same time.

I felt sorry for Ronnie sitting up in the HOH room. But I think there's a possibility it could play to his behalf and get some sympathy from other players.

I can't take Russell serious with the 70s porn star mustache. He's working it too hard, and it may work against him. It wouldn't surprise me if Jessie nominated him, just 'causse Russell is annoying.

I will miss Laura, and her assets.

Jordan made a comment comparing who was smarter, her and Laura, and it really made me laugh. Jordan, I hope you stay cute for a long time 'cause you're no brain either!

OC47150
07-26-2009, 07:16 PM
Typical Sunday ep: so-so.

I'm interested to see if Jessie's secret target is Ronnie or someone else. My gut tells me it's not Ronnie.

Natalie is my least favorite person in the house right now. Don't care for her.

UKWildcat
07-27-2009, 07:13 AM
Welcome back pegger!

I'm thinking Jessie's secret target is Casey. It'd be cool if Casey won POV and took Jordan down, then Jessie would have to put up Ronnie, Kevin, Lydia or Chima. I could live with one of them, or Michelle, going home.

I really don't like Natalie either. There are quite a few people I don't like, but she is probably my least favorite.

OC47150
07-28-2009, 07:58 PM
I think Jessie must've grown a brain and personality over the last year, 'cause I can tolerate him.

That said, I don't understand his thinking when it comes to putting Casey up. Unless it's the age gap, Casey's not a threat. A goob, yes, but not a threat.

The POV competition was nasty!

pegger
07-29-2009, 05:38 AM
The problem is the "threats" are on his team.

I like Casey. It's too bad he is going home. I should say I liked him. I think he needs to let go of the whole Ronnie = rat thing. The hug was funny.

UKWildcat
07-29-2009, 07:08 AM
Yeah, I liked Casey too.

I'm really starting to lose interest in this season. Once Jeff and Jordan are gone, I couldn't care less who wins. And I could definitely see myself stop watching too, like the year when Maggie won (I think her name was). I stopped watching that season with like 5-6 weeks left cause I hated all the house guests at that point. I hope that doesn't happen with this season, but it is headed that way.

Maybe the big twist, or shocker, will be them splitting up the Cliques. That would make things a bit more interesting. Could also be a double eviction week... or something else altogether.

Welcome back, Pegger. It's great to see the usual BB posters back for another summer of fun.

A commerical for tonight's show talked about shaking up the house! Oooo. Wonder what that could be? The cliques already dissolving? It is the end of July.

pegger
07-31-2009, 05:24 AM

08-02-2009, 07:22 PM
That was a very ... satisfying.... episode.

My impression of Russell has increased dramatically. The guy is smarter that I thought.

So far, I have to say it's turning into a good season.

UKWildcat
08-03-2009, 09:51 PM
No kidding, I absolutely could not stand Russell during/after that first week, when he called out Jeff and what not, but now he isn't bad at all. He is actually one of my favorite house guests, behind Jeff.

It has been a pretty good season, I just hope Jeff/Jordan/Russell don't get kicked out anytime soon as they are my favorite house guests.

And I hope this alliance between Jeff/Russell lasts.

Natalie is by far my least favorite house guest. I'm going to celebrate hardcore the night she gets booted, lol.

Mr. JabbaJohnL

OC47150
08-04-2009, 06:38 PM
Finally caught up on BB (had family in town).

Casey leaving was not a shocker. He was the odd man out. Natalie reminded me of a little dog during Casey's departure: all bark, no bite. Still don't like her.

And BB's cliques lasted less than a month!

The HOH challenge looked like it took a beating on some people. I was hoping Michele would win.

Russell's noms are interesting. I think America could give Ronnie the America's Choice. It would definitely turn the house on its head.

OC47150
08-04-2009, 08:27 PM
Chima hit it on the head tonight: Russell is paranoid. And paranoid to the extreme. He needs to know everything that's being said about him in the house.

As for who's going home, I don't know. It will be close. Ronnie's saving grace would be the America's Choice.

The POV challenge was interested. A new twist on an old favorite.

I never really noticed this until tonight, but Michele has a nice little body. :lipsrsealed:

OC47150
08-06-2009, 08:04 PM

Yeah - what was that? Did something in the house between those 2 - 'cause they hated each other....

I LAUGHED when Chima won HoH - you know Jeff is going to torpedo whatever she does (she will likely nominate Jeff and Russell.)

OC47150

Another typical Sunday night ep. What is this, the fourth week that Lydia is on the block? Maybe Russell will go this week. Just maybe. Please.

OC47150
08-13-2009, 07:09 PM
I was willing to bet money that Jeff wouldn't use the coup d'tet. He surprised me! I think he nominated the right people, the strongest pair in the house. I loved the shocked looks on Jessie and Natalie's faces.

Jessie was his usual obnoxious self during the farewell interview.

From Tuesday night's ep, Chima was right: Russell is a terrorist. He has made the house very unpleasant for many of the HGs. He needs to go but I don't if it will happen next week. Maybe on the double elimination night!

Natalie and Jordan: Dumb and Dumber! Hey, I made a funny!!

Mr. JabbaJohnL
08-13-2009, 11:21 PM
I wonder why it was so tense and quiet after the HOH competition? That was weird. Chima sounded mad.

pegger
08-14-2009, 05:17 AM
Noticed that Kevin is now Chima's biatch. The guy looked at her, how many times - 2x?, during the competition to see who he should put up? Putz.

Jessie going is a welcome, but unexpected, surprised. I expected Jeff to use it. I did not expect Russell to vote to save Jessie though. That was a shock.

I can't read Michele. I don't know who she will put up (aside from Russell) - although with the woman's movement afoot - Jeff and Kevin may find themselves leaving shortly....

I wonder why it was so tense and quiet after the HOH competition? That was weird. Chima sounded mad.

Jessie's little toady complained about the HGs not being let into the house. I think something was being re-arranged inside, but that's just a guess.

Michele is hard to read. Other than Russell, she hasn't allied with anyone else. I do think her nominees will be based on strategy, not who's ticked her off, etc...

Personally, I'd like to see Natalie squirm a little more.

It was a letdown.

Here's an interesting article about what we can expect tonight.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090818/ap_en_tv/us_tv_big_brother11

Also, remember the nutty guy from season 2 who held a knife to another contestant's throat? How was his leaving termed? Expelled?

OC47150
08-18-2009, 08:04 PM
And everything that transpired over the last few days is because of one guy with the IQ equvilant of a jelly donut. Amazing. Pass the kool-aid and everyone take a sip.

I expected more fireworks, more heated words tossed about before Chima was shown the door. At least half the show, not just until the first commerical break. But, as shown, Chima did have a history of breaking the rules from the very beginning. It's nice to know she'd not going to get her stipend.

Michele got gimped. She should've remained HOH until Thursday night. But I'm glad Jordan received it. Otherwise, Jordan never would've one.

Lydia is a sore loser on the same scale as Chima. Natalie is just a twit. Neither of them have a good track record of winning challenges, so I think Natalie will go.

Also, Justin/Season 2 was evicted for his behavior.

Mr. JabbaJohnL
08-18-2009, 09:37 PM
I thought this episode was pretty intense. Those damn girls need to calm down! Jessie was an idiot and he got what he deserved.

I don't remember the season four furniture thrower as mentioned in that article? Hmm.

OC47150
08-21-2009, 07:57 AM
Boy, a lot was crammed into one episode. I won't miss Lydia, but I thought the plan was to send Natalie home and torture Lydia a little longer.

Kevin had the line of the season: Hiro-Chima! LOL!!!

Unusual HOH competition, too. I'll try to remain spoiler-free and be surprised Sunday night.

OC47150
08-23-2009, 06:59 PM
Now let's see if Jeff's plan actually works. Personally, I'd like to see the little twit go home.

The HOH was harder than it actually looked. But Kevin and Jeff had the right idea by leaning over the rail at the end and just droppin' 'em in.

The gardening montage was pretty funny.

OC47150
08-25-2009, 08:01 PM
Now comes the best part of each BB season: the paranoia sets in and the HGs start to turn on each other!

Although I'm not fond of Natalie and Kevin (Kev's the lesser of two evils and more or less harmless) this is the HGs last real chance to get rid of Russell.

Next week is being set up to be good!!

Mr. JabbaJohnL
08-25-2009, 11:07 PM
I wonder how Russell is reacting to his nomination. Probably not too well . . . At least he played the game, unlike Kevin and Natalie, who just tagged onto other people's coattails.

OC47150
08-27-2009, 07:59 PM
Russell reacted as only Russell could. Truth be told, he should've went home weeks ago. But I have to give him credit for going out classy and as a gentleman.

At this point, it might make sense to keep Jeff around for as long as possible. If he's as disliked as Lydia and Jessie says, you might want to be sitting across from Jeff in the final two.

Jessie's still FOS. Nice to know nothing's changed.

S'mores anyone?

OC47150
08-30-2009, 08:54 PM
Tonight's episode should be nominated for Best Comedy. I don't know what was funnier: Natalie saying she was a strong competitor, Jeff and the dating game, the peach/necterine debate. I had the best laugh at the HGs' expense.

I have mixed thoughts about Kevin nominating Jeff. Kevin did break his word, but yet Jeff is the strongest player. Yet again, Jeff's so disliked in the Jury House it makes sense to keep him in until the final two.

Mr. JabbaJohnL
08-30-2009, 10:26 PM
You can definitely tell they're padding out the hour now, with all the volatile (aka interesting) people gone. That makes for some fun segments, but it does feel a little nonessential.

Still, I don't know why Kevin would put up Jeff if he said he wouldn't - Jeff pulled through with his part of the bargain and got rid of Russell.

OC47150
09-01-2009, 08:04 PM
Ah, Jeff and Jordo in the bull's-eye. Interesting.

What Michele was talking with Kevin about made sense: keep Jeff, let him do the dirty work next work and get rid of the Twit, I mean Natalie. If I were Kevin or Michele, I'd want Jeff to be sitting across from me in the finals. It would assure Kevin or Michele of winning.

Like so many HGs before them, Natalie and Jordan have been riding coattails all summer long. It's time for them to go.

Chaka needs to get over her fixation with Jessie. He played you, Chaka, like a dime-store violin, but the only person who doesn't know it is you! And revenge for Chima? WTH?

Oh, how many different ways did Chaka screw herself tonight??? She burned any bridges she had with Kevin, Michele and Jordo; she lied about the Pandora's box (but did fess up); she talked waaaaay too much about her plans' and most importantly, can't compete in the POV for 20 minutes with the boyfriend. Any combination of those will come back and bite Chaka in the butt.

I'm glad Kevin had his epiphany about Chaka tonight. It was very funny.

I am surprised Kevin was nominated. Here's how I think things will go down: Kevin or Michele will win POV; Chaka will have to put Jordo up and she goes. Kevin and Michele will tag-team against Chaka and one will win the final HOH and Chaka won't make the final two.

And a luxury competition! First one in what, two or three years at least?

I'm right there with you, Pegger. I think Jordo's chances of winning are slim. Of the lesser of two evils, I'd rather see Kevin win over Chaka.

Kevin using the Veto on himself was a surprise at all. But he should've kept Michele. It would've improved his chances of winning.

If the final two are Kevin and Chaka, I can see the vote right now being 3-3.

I KNOW! He would have been GUARANTEED final 2 - cause no way Nat would take Michelle over him to final 2 - and vice versa!

Right now - here is how I see the votes:

Nat - Kevin final: For Nat: Jessie, Russell, Jeff, Jordan
For Kevin: Lydia, Michelle

Interesting twist, CBS. No one goes home until finale night. I don't know if I'd want to be in the house between tonight and then.

I loved the HGs reaction of 'whats?'

Glad Chaka lost. Poor Chaka.

If Jordo wins HOH Tuesday night, she has a shot of winning the $$$$.

But, if you look at the final three, all three of them have rode coattails all season. Like the Chen-bot said, Kevin's done most of Chaka's dirty work this season.

It was nice to see some of the old HGs back. I had to remind my mom who Danielle was.

SO HAPPY Jordan won stage 2. Awesome!

Didn't realize the hate in the Jury House for Nat. I could be wrong....

If she hadn't rolled a Ronnie ball in the wrong hole (that sounds sooo dirty) Jordan would've had a perfect 10.

I knew Chaka's friends were few in the jury house, but not that few!

Things went well tonight. I really, really can't stand Natalie at ALL.

I stopped watching this show the week Jeff was nominated (didn't watch veto or eviction or anything else). I knew he was going to get booted and I didn't like anyone else in the house, so I figured I can have 3 more hours of my week back. I'll probably tune into the finale (or record it rather), to see if Jeff wins the $25,000 that America Votes for, if they are still giong to do that - But I really don't give two craps about who wins.

Here's my prediction on tonight's show: 80 percent fluff, 20 percent substance.

Whoever is the last HG evicted will happen, I predict, around 9:30, with the jury interviews starting at 10 p.m. and a lot of fluff until 10:50, which the winner is announced.

Go Jordo!!

YES!!!! 5 -2!!!!

Did you see that look on Chaka's face when Jessie's vote went to Jordan?? Depression/disappointment set in!!

I agree with you on Jordan's speech. Whenever Chaka speaks, it sounds like she's on the debate team.

Russell's jury house beard reminded me of a GI Joe I had as a kid.

Didn't Julie's dress remind you of a poncho?

As my mother and I said tonight, we wasted another summer watching BB.

Great ending to the season. I'm so happy Jordan won. Every time she spoke, I thought "Aw...she is SO precious..."

I'm SO happy with the outcome (even though I'll forget these people tomorrow :p ). I was a little surprised that Russell voted for Natalie, but whatever. It all worked out.

I'd watch this if it were called "Big Brothel"... then again, most of the people on this show are attention seeking wh*res anyhow, so... what's the diff? LOL
