I can't imagine actually using them, but they look so cool. I wish they were offering these this year, I'd love to buy a set at the show, but they're not out until 2010.

Neat, but I really prefer regular chopsticks when I eat.

Unfortunately I probably won't be in Japan to use these! I leave next year so unless they come out early in the year then they'd be useless to me.

How long you gonna be in Japan for Slicker?

I'm in Japan until April of 2010. I really don't want to leave but if I stayed it would have to be on shore. I really don't think I could EVER take another enlistment on this ship.

Looking at the pics again I think it would be rather tough to eat with these. I've used the fancy glossy chopsticks before and they're just too slippery at times to effectively pick up food. The cheapo wooden ones have a grain and texture to them that let food stay on 'em a lot easier.

They come out December of this year, and here they'll be $20 a set, with stick rest. I want the 2 larger ones, don't care as much about Yoda's.

I only hope Kotobukiya to go back at their 1/6 (1/7) line of statues...

ArtFX is a good line, and I do want to see it return.

That said, the new ArtFX+ line (8" figs) is really nice too, though it's all animated right now. I haven't seen pricing on it yet, so I can't say which I prefer.

Something about putting porous wood in my mouth makes me gag, like wooden chopsticks. I get the same reaction with popsicle sticks.
One of the things I just can't get over. Maybe I need therapy. :cross-eye
