View Full Version : Random toy questions

I'm going to ask one totally random question now, but feel free to post any others. (Try to keep them answerable, though, and provide an answer to any you can.)
Has there ever been a 3.75" chef figure of any sort with a removable chef's cap?
(Seriously. I was looking at my extra widdle-biddy knives that came with Helix and all the extra Roadblocks Hasbro made, and thinking how cool a "chef Roadblock" would be.)

I know there's people who've made all sorts of custom hats for just what you're talking about, but as to a general figure...hmmm, not off the top of my head.
Check the files section at www.joedios.com (http://www.joedios.com).

Also, doll shops usually carry stuff like that. My grandmother is really into dollhouse building (more like a sissy diorama but we won't get into that) and so I know that stuff is out there, if you can find one of those shops or conventions I'm sure some one could point you in the right direction.

There's a Chef Freddy Kreuger figure that has a removable Chef's hat, maybe you could shrink it or modify it somehow to make it fit 3 3/4"?

i would check craft shops in the dollhouse section. you might find something there that could work.

I took a couple pics of Roadblock wearing the LEGO chef's hat. With some modification to the tube inside the hat, it might fig more snugly.

The Muppet figures from Palisades had a lot of great accessories with them. Dunno if any of the chef hats were in scale with the Joes though.

Okay, time to revive this thread with another stupid question:
Anyone know of a humanoid bear figure in the 3.5"-3.75" range, with a decent amount of articulation and detail?
(I'm sure PB know exactly where I'm going with this one, and it's not just my bear fixation at work.)

Find a woman that can sew and bribe her into making a 3-3/4" scale custom Bongo outfit that you can put on a blonde female fig.

Anyone have a copy of Forbidden Bridge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forbidden_Bridge) that they may have lying around or in an attic somewhere? :) I'd like to acquire one if possible!
