This looks pretty funny, it's got Ewan McGregor and George Clooney in it.

I like McGregor's reaction when Clooney claims to be a "Jedi warrior." :D

I had to watch the trailer again, I didn't even catch that. :)

Definitely looks like a movie I want to watch in the theater.

Loved the trailer, and the cast seems really good. The fact that it's based on a true story is scary though. :p But I do wanna see it.

I stared at a goat once until it walked away. You don't see anyone making a movie about me. What a rip!

And I once stared at a goat until it at a tin can.

Looks like a sequel is already in the works. (http://www.fuzzyslogic.com/blerk/force-goats.gif)

Will there be product tie-ins, such as Honey Bunches of Goats cereal?

It looks interesting. I won't race out and see it immediately, but I'll try and catch it.

We were disappointed by it. It had its funny moments. George Clooney running into walls is always funny - especially when he gets hurt.

Don't you just want to buy the DVD now to play that scene over and over again?

Anyway, other than that the movie didn't have any great climax and wasn't a compelling story. Ewan McGreggor was good in it, though.

But this weekend Michelle gets to pick the movies, so I'm seeing New Moon and possibly 2012. (I might have picked 2012 myself though). But the werewold effects for New Moon look pretty good in and of themselves. I might enjoy it. I mean why go planning to NOT enjoy it?

Entertainment Weekly gave it an F.

2012 is worth watching. I just saw it tonight and I would definitely watch it again. The best part is when California sinks into the ocean.

That's the part where the best-educated and most ambitious, advanced people are swept off the face of the earth, right?

A coworker of mine saw it over the weekend and he said what's been said over and over in these posts: good moments but you already saw them in the trailer.

:D Nothing personal, it's just a cool scene (especially for someone like me who loves disaster movies).

You can actually watch most of the California sinking scene here:

I told BigB before, that we'd lose a lot of our nation's best and brightest if we lost "the left coast."

I'm about 40 miles east of the San Andreas Fault (it pretty much runs along the western border of my county). In the trailer, it looked like everyone west of it went into the Pacific. Maybe I'll have beach front property in 2012!

Uh, yeah: you guys can nearly have a beach party at my place (definitely a San Diego River party - I'm 10 minutes from the beach driving) and let's see who's come:

Slicker
JediTricks
Deoxy
SirSteve

hmmm. I'm forgetting who else from this site has actually been over to my place. El Chuxter's met me at the Target around the corner and gone with me to my comic book shop.

I've seen many of you at Comic Con and CrunchyNug's met me at my Wal-Mart.

How did I forget THAT?! I was thinking about purely social visits.

Yeah, these are my guests from SSG that DIDN'T leave their kidney at the door.

Absolutely! According to the clip of 2012 provided by BigB, Tycho's party would be a SCUBA party! lol ;)
