Bay has apparently had enough money shoveled down his throat to satiate his "artistic integrity" and get the movie made in Paramount's 2011 date. As announced via forum post on his website: http://www.shootfortheedit.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5976

Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012.

Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I'm flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.

P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you.

Pain and Gain is right after shooting of Trans 3.

Michael I guess he won't be making those little French artistic films he wanted to do after all. But heck, at least he'll have robots singing "Mammy" and pole-dancing while dozens of new wise-cracking humans muddle the so-called plot and stuff blows up real good for no reason at all.

This time, Tycho, you won't be taking me to the movies.

This time, Optimus Prime will be a crate of dynamite that explodes in slow motion everywhere all over the screen. :p

So, he had a burrito a few days ago, and the movement later was the shape of the perfect explosion he dreamt would be the finale?
