I have made some kit bashes on some Clone and Jedi. No paint was used on these figures.

Let me know what you think.
41st Arf Troopers & Clone Troopers.
Clone pilots with Recon Trooper arms.
212th Arf Troopers & Clone Troopers.
501st Clone Troopers with Denal(not a kit bash)
Jedi with clone legs and cloth skirts.

First off, it is cool to see ARF troopers with the painted armor... much better than plain white. I really like the soft goods on the Jedi too.

In the pics it looks a little like the "white" is off between the ARF trooper helmets and the other bodies. It seems mostly with ARF head on the 212th/Cody bodies. How do they look in person? I know some site asked about a different white issue in the last Q and A and they said it was intentional, if so, its too bad that they don't match better if for no other reason than customs like this.

My four-year-old loves trading the removable helmets around... if I showed him the heads could pop off... that may just blow his mind and his head may pop off... That and I am sure that I would have a lot of headless clones after a couple weeks

Here is the question:

SnowTroopers.ca: There seems to be a few inconsistencies/errors with some recently released figures.
The CW Deluxe 212th Troopers with backpacks and the Clone armour with the single carded Mace Windu seem to be made of a different grayish white plastic than the previous bright white used for CW clones. Was there a reason for this change in terms of making these figures stand out compared to other figures, a material shortage/mistake at the factory or is this an attempt at a somewhat battle-weathered look?

Hasbro: The intention was to create a more battle-weathered look on the Clone armor.

The 41st Arf is made up of Commander Gree parts and an Arf Trooper, the 212st Arf is made up of Commander Cody parts and an Arf Trooper, it might be the pics, but the white matches up perfectly on both types.

I think they were refering to the 212st jet packs set and the Turbo Tank Gunners set. I dont think i'd buy them though as they are an off white plastic, they look terrible.

It sounds like your son is already started getting into customs, theres no stopping him now, lol.

I just got home from work and checked the whites on my ARF and other clones... sure enough, they match perfectly... it was probably just the settings on my computer at work... or the fact that I had been staring at the same screen all day

I'm glad they match. Thanks for the clarification.

The figs look great! How do you remove the belts? What about separating the bodies? I need to know 'cause I keep killing my figs!

Just put the whole figure into to some hot kettle water, then leave for 1 minute, then the arms, knees, torso and legs will be easy to pop out of the sockets.

I like the ARFs.
