Since AC shut my own personal custom thread down, I decided to be a team player and create a thread for Phantom Menace customs.

My first is a very simple Aura Sing. The arrow will direct you to the change I made. LMK what you think.

Sorry to burst your bubble , again! Lol :D
I've merged your thread with the original thread for TPM customs.

That's one custom that I'd have to do if and when I decide to make a dio with Aurra Sing.

As for you other customs on the locked threads, feel free to add them in the appropriate existing threads. Do you do any dioramas?

I thought I looked around to make sure there wasn't a TPM customs thread. I guess I didn't look hard enough... foiled again!;)

187 & AC, thanks for the compliments.

It took me a little while to decide what to use for the antenna. After about 30 minutes of looking in Aurra Sing "Dawn of the Bounty Hunter" and researching pics on the web, I had placement figured out and I decided to use a straight pin. They're strong but not quite as thin as I would like. Anything thinner would have bent to easily. I clipped off the pin head and a little extra for proper length.

Besides the missing antenna, I don't think this figure really needs anything else...maybe a second removable blaster, hmmm.

Sorry for the double-post. Forgot to answer AC's last question.

I am currently working on a Death Star diorama involving the vintage playset. Don't worry, it will be drastically different.(I know this doesn't really fall under TPM customs, but I wanted to answer the question where it was asked.:) )

If anyone has a loose, complete POTF2 FX Emperor they want to sell, email me. It will help in the completion of this diorama. Thanks!

I forgot about this custom. It involved a dremel and a black magic marker. No collection is complete without a little Shishka-Jinn! Thank you! Thank you! I'll be here off and on for many years to come.:D

I did one of Qui gon like that as well.

Quigon has a hole in him that fits Maul's sabre.
I also cut his legs and reglued them so he is on his knees.
My Darth Maul I cut in half (this was before the hasbro one came out.) He is holding the half-lightsabre.
Obi wan stands there (no modifications) but he holds Quigon's LS.

Here is a custom fig i did of Yarael Poof.

I am very sure is is far from being acurate in his arms and legs but i only had the pic below to base the fig off of.

That's pretty cool. I think the robes should be less shiney and a darker brown but that's just my opinion.

Thanks.

I would make Rancis but i heard he has a Snake lower section so he might be tough without some refrence pics to go by.
Right now i got an Arconian Jedi in the works (Creature from the Cantina with a Triangle shaped head).

I thought Yareal Ploof was the same species as Gasgano and had 4 arms. The lower 2 he keeps under his robes.

I sure wish that I could say I was the one who made those. But I always give credit where credit is due. Joe Amaro is the one who made them and the Jedi High Council diorama. If the name sounds familiar, he does custom work for Toyfare magazine. In fact, he did the AOTC figures featured in Toyfare before Hasbro came out with theirs.

Poof isn't the same as Gasgano, I think, both have four arms, but Yarael looks alot bigger than Gasgano.

I wanted to add my two cents to this post. I recently finished a custom 3 3/4" Kaadu riding Capt. Tarpals.
I took the legs from the Jar Jar pack in and put them on a Tarpals torso. I thin kit came out pretty nice.

There's a pic in the Saga section:Cap'n Tarpals (http://www.sirstevesguide.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12069)

End...:D.

Before Ep.1 came out I saw pictures of a dark red C3-P0 type droid
But I did not see it in the movie. Anyone know its Number (name)?
Was it replaced with TC-14??

Anyway....here is my custome:

Battle Droid

I've made my own Pilot Battle Droid.

It uses the Armored Scout Tanks Pilot BD's body & head (had to cut off it's nose and the the two things on the back of it's head a little), with the Boomer Damaged BD's arms and legs.

Gotta love the boil & pop method, it's great for making simple customs. :D

Please excuse the sucky picture quality, my camera sucks!

That's pretty cool! But, wouldn't it just be easier to paint the boomer damage one blue?

Battle Droid
08-10-2003, 12:53 PM
Thanks. :D

I thought it was easier this way since I don't have any blue paint, and I'm not a very good painter. :D

I don't really like the head though, I'm gonna try and do something with it so I can use the Boomer Damaged BD's head instead.
