Flooding in Georgia earlier this year has led to a closing of one of the bakery/factories that produce the frozen toaster waffle.

Isn't an Eggo famine one of the signs of the apocalypse?

Some in my household will drop to their knees and with upthrust arms scream, "Why?" to the heavens........

I'll just keep on with my bagels.....

That's me...the Prophet of Doom. I just inform, what you do, is still all you. I've given warning.

It's after 1AM (for me) and pb is logged on. There's something really wrong with that picture....free that boy from the lab already!

Unless this is some new fatherhood training about staying up all hours I'm not aware of......

It's the lab. I calculated I could finish off this project by running over night and I will come close. I will just write a rough draft for two weeks (yeah, revising is a *****) so I will be free. Trying to watch SG Universe through a T1 connection that is choppier than dial up even though I decided to dump it while the CE generates the data .

Lab be damned! I hope they will give you a break when Baby Stir Fry arrives!

I could ask or hope they give...but that would make me like everyone else. Instead, I told them this is what I'm going to do and take the time off anyways (and it helps that under FMLA that they can't do a thing about it either).

Ah, how times have changed! Back in the "olden days" I got to spend two whole days with everyone when our son was born before it was time to get back to work. We never had such a thing back in the Depression.
