Here's my unfinished R3-A2 from Echo base. I love how he looks as orange is favourite colour and he makes a change from red or blue  He's only unfinished because I haven't done his legs yet or finished tidying up the silver. looks okay though all the same. :)

These are my first 2 custom figures. No, they aren't perfect, but I'm still learning.

R5-M2: I trimmed the guns and extra plastic off of R5-D4 and repainted him.

R-3PO: Repainted flashback C-3PO.

I used the webcam for this pic, so the quality isn't all that great. I'll take one later with my other camera.

Man, I can't believe I haven't done an empire custom yet. Actually, we could use more Empire customs.

After finally getting my POTJ Snowspeeder and being overly disgusted with the old POTF2 headsculpt, I figured it was time to make my first custom figure. First, I found a Bespin Duel Luke whose head was not extremely battered. Then I simply did a headswap and added in the POTJ Luke X-wing helmet (which fits perfectly) and viola! I think it came out pretty well as I'm pleased with the results :D

Here's another pic with the helmet off:

I did a head swap with the new Endor Rebel Soldier and the Bespin Guard. This is my first attempt at doing a head swap.

I just swapped heads with my POTJ Luke Skywalker X-Wing Pilot and the Bespin Guard and let me tell you it makes a great difference. Both heads look better on the opposite figure and Luke's helmet fits great on the Bespin Guard's head. :)

Here is the new Rebel Pilot without his helmet on.

This is the second photo of the Bespin Guard and The Rebel Pilot with his helmet on. Hope you enjoy:)

They look good. I was going to do this too, but I never got around to buying another Luke. I ended up swapping the Bespin Guard with the Endor Soldier. I posted the pics in the ESB and ROTJ custom figure threads.

For my next multi-head swap, I need:

Weequay
Lando Skiff guard
Tatooine Luke
Han Solo

Weequay's head goes on Luke's body. I will need to do a small re-paint to match the Weequay from Jabba's Sail Barge

Lando's head goes on Han Solo's body (with some paint to change the exposed skin) to make Smuggler Lando (ESB).

Luke's head goes on Skiff Lando's body = Human Skiff/Palace Guard 1
Han's head goes on Weequay's body = Human Skiff/Palace Guard 2

Thanks Rogue II, I'll go over and check yours out in the ESB and ROTJ custom figure threads. I can't wait to see the new project you are going to do, it should look cool. I haven't decided on any more projects, as they are spur of the moment things for me.:)

I took a potj rebel trooper (ANH/blockade runner) and gave him the head from an extra cantina band members using the boil and pop method. (I tried to swap hands but it was just impossible. The alien ones just would not fit. :( At least they're the right color . . .) Anyway, he looks cool enough sitting in my new walmart cantina.

Here's my custom K-3PO that I made from a Saga C-3PO. It took just over six hours to complete, sorry the scan isn't that great, but it was the best I could do at the time. I'm glad I didn't purchase him because I kinda like this one better. :D Trust me when I say it looks a lot better than the pic.

Has anyone tried to put a blonde luke head (ie. all-new likeness, floppy hat, T-16 model, saga Landspeeder) on the POTJ X-Wing pilot body? I wonder how that would work.

Thanks LTBasker, I have found the particular images but how do I add them to this message box.
Thanks.

Yes, by all means, do this. To get it to look right you have to chop down "new likeness" lukes neck, otherwise you will be looking at a giraffe like custom.

Luke's head goes on Skiff Lando's body = Human Skiff/Palace Guard 1

Sorry for not posting this about three weeks ago, but I made a Luke:Skiff Guard figure by putting the head of a POTF2 Stormtrooper Luke atop a Skiff Lando's body, with A1 results.
A good tip is that the arms of Skiff Lando are actually cast in plastic that's the same colour as Luke's head, so you can just remove the brown paint from Lando's hands to match the hue of Luke's skin.

I made a smuggler Lando which you can see on the Community Boards, but what the photo doesn't show is that the head is a bit thin for the neck-socket, so some filling-in around the torso may be required.

This is #2 of the simple 3. I must say that I have grown to dislike the Saga ESB Luke. Something just doesn't look right. However I am still please with the POTF2 version.

The only changes I made were swapping the POTF2 blaster with its Saga counterpart. Looks much better! :D I also added a saber hilt to his leg. This is actually the hilt from the POTJ Ben Kenobi which is my first of my latest 3 customs.

Thanks for looking!

Bumping up the Empire Strikes Back customs.

I actually changed my mind on my Admiral Ozzel custom. He really belongs in the EU Customs. After some thought he became Admiral Gilad Pellaeon. Just seemed to be a better fit.

I never did understand why Lando wore Han's clothes. Actually, he didn't have a lot of time to pack when leaving Bespin.

Here's a custom of Lando from the end of ESB. I used a POTF2 Han body and POTF2 Lando head and hands to produce a POTF2 Lando Smuggler. Enjoy!

That turned really well. I almost didn't recognize it as the Saga C-3P0 figure, but after looking at it for a little bit I realized which figure you used. Like I said, it looks great.
