So, the Mon Cal Jedi is the figure?

Details probably are in some email inboxes or the front page here.

Oh boy! I can skip this one... unless a custom Bant Eerin could be easily made from him. Is Kit secretly a pedophile with a Mon Cal fetish, 'cause he seems to get lots of Mon Cal padawans?

I sent my form and UPCs in this morning. This isn't as cool as the last mail-away, but I am excited to get this figure. I figure since I have all the other CW Jedi...

I like how they're not even trying to hide the vintage assortment anymore.

I'll wait until I get an order form, and if it's anything like the Qui-Gon mail-away, I'm sure to have thousands of them.

I'd almost pick two up, one to keep and be my 3rd CW figure (Ahsoka and Mail Away Rex are the only other ones) and the other to become a Cilgahl custom.

I downloaded the redemption form from HTS. Before I go and dig out all my figure inserts with the UPCs I've kept from past purchases, can anyone confirm that the assortment number for each line hasn't changed since last year?

The form requires UPCs from Build-A-Droid (87535 Asst.), Legends (87995 Asst.), The Clone Wars (87638 or 94736 Asst.), or Vintage (not yet released 87568 Asst.). If I can use UPCs from figures I purchased last year I can get a couple forms in the mail for two Nahdar Vebb figs on Monday.

The only figs I've seen with the gold sticker have been on ones I'm not really interested in (Grinless Scube Kit and Glowing Asajj Dooku). I will wait, or pass completely.

Those assortment numbers match with what we've seen since July 2008, so anything on the 2008-2009 storm/clone trooper cards or the smaller 2009-2010 red/black/orange-trim cards. The second Clone Wars assortment number (94736) will apparently be applied to it when the line comes back in the fall, along with the vintage (so apparently Saga Legends will have the same number, which is annoying).

Thanks for the clarification, JJL! I got two forms in the mail for a couple Vebbs today.

Snow Job, a.k.a. Obi-Wan from ice world, was on the pegs today, and at an even $6, with the mail-away sticker, so I bought him. The figure's actually pretty good (removable hood and goggles, cool Force point hand sculpt). I intend to mail off for the Mon Cal tomorrow.

So far I've gotten forms with Aayla Secura, Hondo Ohnaka, and TX-20. I'll mail off shortly . . . I might wait until April, after the Eopie deal has expired, so as to not have them accidentally send me another Eopie.

I got enough UPCs with a snow obi-wan and snow anakin, so I sent order form out Saturday.
I actually want him, he looks cool. And since I'm slowly collecting all the CW jedi's I'll need him to have complete collection.

They actually cashed my check already for Nahdar.

When did you mail it out?

While preparing my order form today, I noticed that the mailing address is "Star Wars 2009 Premium Item Offer". Um . . . isn't it 2010? I wonder if that's why the Eopie mix-up happened?

Jonthejedi, I noticed the other day that they had cashed my check as well.

Saw two of them at the Frank & Sons collector show yesterday (both were $15). It has a "3-D package" fold-out).

I will be mailing off for two of these figures soon. Alien jedi are pretty cool. yeah.

I hope that, if they can't fill my order for an Eopie, they don't think they can just substitute it out for a Groan Wars figure.

The only thing making me groan is that awful, awful pun. :p :D

The only thing making me groan is that awful, awful pun. :p :DNope, these are much, much worse:

"I hope that, if they can't fill my order for Old Space, they don't think they can just substitute it out for a Cologne Wars figure."

"I hope that, if they can't fill my order for 'SNL: The Best of Dan Akroyd,' they don't think they can just substitute it out for a Conehead figure."

"I hope that, if they can't fill my order for an E or P, they don't think they can just substitute it out for a Consonant/Vowel figure."

"I hope that, if they can't fill my order for Folicle Forces #4, they don't think they can just substitute it out for a Comb Wars figure."

See? Ye [don't] ask, and ye shall receive punnery in abundance. :pleased:

My check for Jedi Mon was mailed out on 3/23 or so, and it shows as cashed on my account around 3/30 or so. Maybe due to the cruddy issues with Qui-Gopie have sped up the process on the '10 one.

My Nahdar Vebb arrived today! I sent my UPCs in on January 26th according to my post on page one of this thread.

And with mine about two months after yours, I expect mine on May 22nd (unless Saturday delivery is gone by then). :D

so it's been a month since Hasbro cashed my check for either Qui Gon/Eopie or Vebb and haven't heard anything yet. I know it takes months but was hoping that it would be here early. oh well the wait is on. haven't gotten any mail saying they were delayed so here's hoping.

It arrived this week. And now I have it... in my possession. It's a "free" figure.

Remember when mail-aways were special figures? :( Like Fett, Mace, B'Omarr, Emperor, Trooper Han, Stormtrucas, et al?

Mine came on Friday. The bubble was somewhat dented at the bottom, but as an opener, I don't care. His articulation is much better than most of the rest of the TCW line - his shoulders are double-jointed, which is strange, but can make for some really cool poses.

You'd think Hasbro'd be better about sending out their mail-aways in decent condition, especially when you have to specify whether you're a kid, parent, or collector. (They're especially bad on HTS.com about just throwing things in oversized or undersized boxes without padding, while selling the same items AFA graded for insane amounts. But they don't offer the promotions AFA graded, so why not take more care with them?)

Oh, I forgot to mention; the box wasn't even taped shut. Just lifted the slot and opened it up, with no "stuffing" packaging to keep it from gittin' all busted up. Glad I didn't get a 2010 version of an Early Bird box.
