View Full Version : Transformers Hall of Fame Poll - vote now!

04-19-2010, 01:19 PM
Hasbro has invited us, via our participation in the Transformers Q&A program, to poll for the top 5 most choices for their inaugural Transformers Hall of Fame.

Already, Hasbro has selected Optimus Prime, Starscream, Megatron, and Bumblebee, so this vote is to help determine the 5th slot for this years Hall of Fame inductees.

What we need from you is a ranked list of your top 5 (five) character choices from all of the Transformers universe. So post below with your list now.

The poll ends this Friday.

Need you ask who my number one will be? (He'd also be 2-5, if that were allowed.)

1: Grimlock
2: Hot Rod (NOT Rodimus Prime, if I can make that distinction; if not, fine, then Rodimus too)
3: Ravage
4: Ratchet
5: Soundwave

04-19-2010, 08:19 PM
1) Devastator
2) Soundwave
3) Wheeljack
4) Ravage
5) Ironhide

this is way too hard. This is like asking a parent which kid they like better with multiple kids -lol.

1. Shockwave (since i know he won't get a lot of 1st place votes)
2. Soundwave
3. Grimlock
4. Jetfire
5. Devastator

that was just too painful --i wanted Trailbreaker, Ironhide, Wheeljack, sideswipe, Skywarp, thundercracker too --

Thanks for the votes so far.

Today is the last full day to vote, I have to send this poll in tomorrow. So let's get a few more votes, people!

04-22-2010, 04:31 PM
1. Cosmos (green flyingsaucer if no one remembers him)
2. Soundwave (Casettape player FTW)
3. Ratchet (Medics need love too)
4. Dino Bot (Beast Wars)
5. RC (Only because I can remember her name)

04-22-2010, 06:24 PM
Thanks for voting. Don't worry, fans still remember Cosmos. They released a Legends figure recently (hard to find) and had a canceled prototype 6" Titanium Series on display a few years back.

Voting is now concluded.

Thanks to everybody who participated. Here are the results we're sending in:

1. Soundwave
2. Grimlock
3. Shockwave
4. Devastator
5. Dinobot (Beast Wars)

That's a great-looking list!

Wasn't Dinobot really Grimlock anyway? Unless you go by "A Distant Time and Space" continuity.

I thought some of the Beast Wars characters were classic characters with new names, and Dinobot was referred to on a filecard in a way that hinted he was Grimlock. Not the case, I take it?

I know in one story (which I erroneously said was "A Distant Time and Space"), which refers to the Autobots and Decepticons eventually evolving into Maximals and Predacons, Grimlock sacrifices himself to defeat Liege Maximo. Even though it's by Furman, based on stuff from the G2 comic, it's widely considered non-canon.

Grimlock was a dalmation repaint of the Dinobot mold. Didn't appear in the cartoon, but did make an appearance in the comic books. I feel that it was the wrong 'bot to repaint, though.

grimlock or soundwave are definitely a lock, so i voted for Shockwave. I like all the nominees, although i know little to nothing about Dinobot. Need to watch some BW

Dinobot was a pretty interesting character, and then his last episode was downright epic. I don't want to spoil his character arc for you if you're going to watch the show, but "EPIC" is totally fair, he saved the human race for corn's sake.

corn's sake?? :cross-eye
