And it is here (http://www.buzzfeed.com/awesomer/super-mario-crossover).

Spread the word, as this website could solve all of the world's problems as more revel in its sheer awesomeness. (Thanks, DQ!)

From my bookmarks, here is the original of this: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/534416

And his website about it: http://www.exploding-rabbit.com/games/super-mario-bros-crossover/

It's addictive, but man does Simon Belmont suck.

Also, technically, it's the pinnacle of EASTERN civilization, since these are NES characters originally from Japan.

One thing that bums me out, I'm making the same mistakes I made 25 f'ing years ago when I first was playing SMB.

I figured it was another thread about some sort of fast food but was pleasantly surprised!

What I wouldn't give to play it with my old controller! I have the worst time playing it with a keyboard!

I thought the same thing at first!

Droid, they sell an NES-style USB controller on Amazon, it has horrible reviews. Another company makes an SNES-style one that has better reviews though.

I gotta say "Bill" the dude from Contra pretty much kicks maximum booty, especially once you get the spread.

I just played 1-1 with Samus Aran...that's one of the coolest things I've ever seen, Chux!

The only issue I've run into: the clock seems to run slightly faster than in the original. I cannot, no matter how I try, finish World 8-1 with anyone.

I think that was always the trick to 8-1, time management. You can't take time to chase coins or extra guys. I made it through with Link that way. Originally, Mario always had to use his run feature to get through.

I've beaten every board as Link except 8-2, 8-3, and 8-4.

Are there any other websites that have this sort of thing?

If you ever thought that combining Mario with Tetris was a good idea there's always Tuper Tario Tros (http://www.freewebarcade.com/game/tuper-tario-tros/)

I can't play it too well but it's interesting enough to check out

Interesting concept, but I found it totally unplayable. The scrolling ruins it when the first thing you have to do is build a ramp for Mario or he dies. There's no learning curve, you just die over and over.

That's what I was thinking JT, tho my inability to use a keyboard for playing any game with more than 4 buttons nakes it difficult to judge when it's the fault of the game, or just me.

There is probably some dude in Japan who does speed-runs of that game while blindfolded
