Thanks :) Sorry about the links instead of pics, they're way too big to have as little pics on the site itself.

I really like the mini-sabres too, to me they're like the Titaniums - big enough to have detail, small enough to be displayed in a reasonable space.

Mind if I ask where you got the mini-sabers? (And who made them, about how much they cost?). I've been jonseing on the nerd collecting since the Titaniums stopped rolling out.

And another general question for the public at large : I remember reading about another titanium-sized line of ships here a while ago (NOT the DeAgostini ones -- I know where to get my hands on them whenever I find the @@#!@# money for 'em.). I seem to recall that they were plastic and perhaps had to assemble them yourself, and their Snowspeeder model (and jedi fighter model) had two flying side-by-side. And I think they've only released a few waves so far.

Anybody who could refresh my memory on the name of the company who makes them would be doubly thanked -- we're moving into a new house soon and I'll finally have a nerd dungeon big enough to start adding to my collectons again without having my new aquisitions just sitting in a box someplace.

(oh, and cool collection by the way)

-v!

The .45 scaled lightsabers were made by Master Replicas and you can find everything you need about them HERE (http://www.rebelscum.com/mrminisabers.asp)

Hi briar, welcome :).

Serg is quite correct, they are the 0.45 scale sabres from Master Replicas. Master Replicas stopped making Star Wars products back in 08 and aren't even known as Master Replicas anymore, but you can still find the sabres on ebay for a reasonable price. I honestly forget how much I paid for mine, somewhere in the $20-30 vicinity I think, but don't take my word on that.

As for the plastic ships, you're thinking of F-toys (f-toys.net). They've made two series of Star Wars and one of Star Trek ships now, very detailed, very nice. If you're looking for alternatives, I'd also suggest the plastic Wizards of the Coast (WotC) miniature 'Starship Battles' line. It's the only line that made many models in Titanium size, like the Republic Assault Ship; Rebel Assault Frigate; Imperial Interdictor Cruiser etc.

Thanks, guys. Can't believe I spaced out on the F-toys line and the lightsabers will make a very nice addition to all my "crap."
