I remember when I got this for a present, when I openned it it smelled REALLY bad. Does anyone else remember this?

I know this is an odd question, but it just occured to me.

I remember getting this too and it smelled like a skunk sprayed into the box! Poo-whiff!! Nasty!!! I'm glad when that smell went away. It was TERRIBLE!

I had a Captain & Tennille LP that came smelling like tacos when I got it back in 1976. I would have preferred THAT instead of the skunk smell.

This has to be one of the wierdest osts yet, and nope i don't remember any smell.

I bought my Rebo Band set at Sears Surplus (a store that sold extra inventory or less-wanted items from Sears) for...

$5.00

So, any smells may have been from the store itself (not always the cleanest establishment).

I've noticed a common aging defect; the legs on Max get faded while the body remains blue (or vice versa, I forget). Mine has stayed all blue, but I'm not "all blue" about that!
