Doubt there will be bay news until Toyfare. Both this line and the Marvel Superhero Squad line seem to only produce a few waves a year and so the gaps between new releases can feel interminable.

TRU has 2 packs for $2.98 ...
24488
and so I could resist adding to my Shadow Stormtrooper army!

Didn't even know they made the two handed storms in black. Are they new? Who else is in the wave?

Well it looks like Galactic Heroes are finished. I wonder if we will ever see the AT-ST.....

Despite the line being canceled, it would have been nice to get an update on the AT-ST. Even if the answer was, "Sorry folks, it just isn't going to happen" it would be better than not even acknowledging it at all.

Do the new playskool vehicles look like the GH versions?

I think JT had said that the Playskool snowspeeder looked to be the same as the GH one but I haven't seen anything definitive. Though it would make a lot of sense instead of resculpting all that stuff.

Looking at the slideshow pics the Snow Speeder and Jedi Starfighter look to be the same http://photos.sirstevesguide.com/data/6176/Slide343.jpg, but it is hard to tell. Hopefully they can utilize the AT-ST in this new line, that would be outstanding!

I decided even though the new playskool line figures look good, I'm not going to get into these. I might, if the line continues far enough, buy any new vehicles that may come out. But I will not get into another line that may or may not be successful.

I know that once my boys start seeing the new toys in the stores it will be very difficult to avoid getting into this line. I would certainly rather continue fleshing out the GH line with more osbcure, but cool figures than start all over again with this new line. I know GH was a kid-focused line, but my son loves the cantina aliens and skiff guards and such that have been released.

IF the vehicles are similar enough in scale (if not the same vehicles as we've discussed) and would fit in with the GH stuff, I may have to pick up some of the new vehicles that never were released in the GH line.

Heres the rundown on whats confirmed guys, and grudgingly they look worthy successors to Galactic Heroes.

I did a couple of rough comparison pics over at therumorbuster.com Basically red repaint/red canopy on the snowspeeder and a blue canopy on the starfighter. The new figures look like a good fit.
Also maybe the AT-ST was held off a full run in GH packaging for later release in Jedi Force. We did get them in the UK and I managed to send a couple over to the guys in the US/Canada. If it does come out later that would still leave the AT-ST driver as a hole in GH collections for many.

$37.99? Good God. Wasn't the vehicle line 24.99? Even the TRU mark-up doesn't justify that hike.

Yeah, that's what I paid for the Galactic Heroes AT-AT I bought for my son.

I found it today at my local TRU for 37.99. It was an easy pass considering it sat next to the AT-AT priced at 42.99. The four figures all look like re-packs no matter what the box says. Really a disappointment that they priced the public out of it. At 27.99 - 29.99, it's a easy grab. But at 37.99, no matter how cool it looks, and it does look cool, it's too much.
