I don't know if this one has been posted or not, just in case. I just got this from a TRU a listed of the SKNs and Prices, I wish there is a list of the case #. Hopefully it will help everyone. Happy hunting.

Well I guess this proves that TRU isn't gonna go with the lower end of the 5.99-6.99 MSRP for the 4" figures. Big suprise there. I guess I will get all my E2 figures from Wal-Mart after all. Especially if they still end up 5.88 like they show up on the computers. :D

Ack, that almost freaked me out, I almost thought the gunship would be $100! But thankfully it'll be the reported forty. :D
Wal-Mart should definitely be cheaper than TRU, but those aren't too bad of prices, 9.99 for deluxe, maybe Wal-Mart will have'em for 8.99? Hope someone can get a scan of Wal-Mart's SKNs w/ prices soon.

I find it absolutely amazing that the stores that specialise in selling toys, who order them in bulk and therefore should get discounted pricing, end up selling them for more than the "discount" stores. You would think that, at worst, the discount stores and TRU would be on par with each other. Strange. Oh, well.

What's the deal with the R2-D2 for 99.99? Does it clean your car, cook, clean?? That's ALOT of money for this guy.

No but I think it can hold a 12 ounce pop. :D It's supposed to be interactive with ya, with direct voice commands, sounds interesting, can't remember all the details though.

I think the "discount" goes to the scalpers who buy the stuff out the back door. ;)

Well, if the figs are 6.99 at other TRU's, the TRU in NYC will be chargung 7.99.

At this point I may as well support my local Mom and Pop shop which will sell them for 7.99!
But at least I'll get to open the case!

Boy, and TRU blames their poor sales on the economy following Sept. 11. What nerve!

I love all the hate!!!! I must be missing out on all the backdoor scalpers at TRU. And another thing, Walmart has many more stores then TRU and hence they order more units, hence they get the lower price. But go into your local walmart and see if you can accually find what your looking for. SO before you go off on TRU get your facts straight.

How exactly do SKNs help you collect the figures??? I'm not trying to be a smartass, I really don't know.

Doesn't matter actually. I have a couple friends that order direct from Hasbro, everyone pays the exact same price per figure, and per case on the 3 3/4" stuff. There are only bulk discounts on the bigger ticket items like 12" action collection figures, and stuff that not all stores would sell.

I agree, JarJar. TRU puts their own price on these toys.
SRP is only what the manufacturer says we should pay.
TRU can jack up these prices and smile all the way to the bank.
Personally I would rather save some of my hard earned money and get them for less at Wal Mart.
Its the same thing and you get to save money at the same time.

the only thing I have bought from Tru is their exclusives.
Walamrt for me is closer and is cheaper for everybody.
I don't live in an area with alot of collectors or scalpers so if you wait you'll be able to get it at walmart.
Maybe 6 monthes after release but they always turn up.
I have to agree that each store sets their own price. If Tru wants to have higher prices more power to them.If I don't want to spend it more power to me.(and more money for Walmart)
